I want her to do a photo shoot with me and my husband next. Her prices are so reasonable, too--you get unbelievable value for what you spend, especially for the Boston area. People will think you spent a whole lot more than you did, and I guarantee will ask you for her number. I love that. Like someone else said here, the hardest part is narrowing the images down--any one of them would be your favorite shot from another photographer, but with Laura, it's just soooooo hard to pick. She was great with our daughter, and was able to get her to open up and be herself. We had an hour long photo session in a nearby park and Amara got some fantastic pictures of our daughter as well as us as a family. We originally hired Kate to do our newborn photos last year (April 2020), and unbeknownst to us...or anyone, they ended up being canceled because of the pandemic. It was a really hard time for us to be in a pandemic, with a newborn, as new parents, while isolated. Missing out on our newborn photos was a small but nonetheless heartbreaking loss for me. Kate was so graceful and kind, she offered alternatives and came to shoot us (from afar) outside at our home...those photos will be forever memorable.
