I sat right next to the registration desk, watching the interaction of the three employees working. Sporadically. After seeing four people being checked in that signed in after I did, I approached the desk, as I didn't want to miss my appointment. McKenzie had previously checked a patient in and must have pulled more than one slip. She had taken check-in paperwork to the wall between the procedure hall and then walked to the back of the reception area and was...talking to another of the employees in the reception area. She eventually walked to the desk and asked if I had a question. I explained the problem. She told me she had my slip and to take a seat and she'd call me up in a minute. Then, and this is a quote, she said "The next time you want to complain have a little patience.  We have other things to do than check-ins." I looked at her and said "Pardon me" and she repeated it. If I had not been with Dr Cosgrove for over a decade, I would be looking for a new Pain Management physician. But the worst is, I requested a contact by a supervisor once I got home and cooled off, and have YET to hear from anyone!

I didn't get to see the doctor she sees but they am had an NO. her name is Keisha Cloud. my friend didn't know her or even heard much about her and being in healthcare I never heard of her so I was little angst. I know plenty of amazing physicians and many great ones but either they aren't accepting patient's or due to work I wanted to keep it separate. Anyhow In 20 years of being around physicians and specialists I can say she was amazing. She was very focused on our time together, asked questions listened. Made suggestions based on my personal beliefs and thoughts and not try to sell or push me onto anything. My mother was a patient at this practice for nearly four years. During that time, one of the clinic…read moreemployees was involved in a personal criminal matter with her outside of the office, ultimately pleading guilty and entering a diversion program. After the employee became aware of my mother's identity, we later discovered through the patient portal that the employee had accessed my mother's medical records, including urine drug screen results. Shortly after court proceedings related to that criminal case, my mother was discharged from the practice and was told it was due to a "conflict of interest." We contacted the practice seeking answers regarding the employee's access to records, the circumstances surrounding additional testing, and the basis for the discharge decision. Unfortunately, rather than providing transparency and accountability, the practice's handling of the situation left us with more questions than answers. Patients deserve confidence that their medical information will be protected and that concerns involving potential conflicts of interest will be thoroughly investigated and addressed. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

Decent doctors - Utterly incompetent & rude staff My fiancee…read morecame to Dr. Edwards for back pain in June 2025. Before even being able to get the first appointment, we had to convince the office staff that she wasn't just seeking pain meds. This was degrading for a person who was already on disability. After finally getting to see Dr. Edwards, the staff FAILED to notify my fiancee that the injection treatments in her back had been authorized under her old insurance and did not schedule the procedure ("due to high office turnover"). 3 months ago, she scheduled a follow-up for prescription refills and to find out what happened to the injection that was to be scheduled. Not only was the office staff again were rude and dismissive, but they told her the appointment wasn't on their schedule (even though she had a text from the office to remind her to come in). The doctor finally saw her again (several hours later) and arranged to get her on the schedule for her injections in early October. In mid-September, we notified the office that her insurance had changed for the better and provided them all the pertinent policy and group info which would supersede her old Medicaid disability coverage. The office told her "oh no hun, your Medicaid coverage will be primary not your BC/BS" (which is incorrect). One week ago, she went to the outpatient surgical center at the time and day the office staff gave her, only to find that the staff never scheduled the procedure. The outpatient center directed her to the doctor's office to work out what happened. The staff was again rude, insensitive to her pain and utterly dismissive. It caused my fiancee to break down in tears in the waiting area. Finally the staff scheduled the procedure and she made them give her a written confirmation. That brings us to today. Today, two days before our wedding ceremony, she was supposed to have the injections for back pain which has spiraled into chronic debilitating levels. We got her there and she was turned away again. We discovered that the office staff never got authorization under her new insurance. The staff at the doctor's office ran the authorization through Medicaid, never contacting Blue Cross... The utter incompetence, arrogance and cruelty towards patients by the staff is beyond belief. Any good will towards Dr Edwards evaporated after this. I can not recommend this business to anyone in good conscience.

One reschedule - fine. 2 reschedules - in a row - for a company that has a very limited presence in their Huntsville, Alabama office is quite concerning. When I asked re: the cause for this pattern of reschedules I has told that "C" was on a pleasure trip with his wife (by the way - I was called on a Sunday - both reschedule calls have come in on a Sunday from private phone numbers - not the office line). Additionally , "C" is not part of the clinical staff - he is the marketing staff! When I pointed this out and asked about the availability of the clinical staff, I was also told that the "doctor" would not be in either. This has all the earmarks of an unprofessional - and perhaps not trustworthy clinical practice. My health is of importance to me and I am afraid to continue with this company - I no longer believe that they have either the willingness/capability/expertise to provide the services for which I paid.
