To start off, the staff was really nice, Dr O was really good too, now what I didn't like was they had a $75 new patient deal going on that includes adjustment, x-ray and consultation, ok cool.. but my insurance covers 30 visits and with a $20 co pay.. anyways, we take the x rays, then on the second visit i have to watch almost a half video, I'd rather just talk to the Dr. Then a lady comes in with a " treatment plan" and she's going over the numbers and all I see is 3,800 dollars I have to pay and if I pay all at ONCE they take off 10%.... That was the last time I went to them. My insurance covers the treatments, and my new chiropractor told me " how would they know how many treatments you need a year ahead of time? Why isn't your insurance paying anything?" They tried to put me under a payment plan too, and I wasn't going for it, not to mention there's too many people for the appointment, I had the first appointment and there was 4 people already waiting too, too much marketing for this office and not enough patient care/quality time. My opinion, I'd rather drive to Decatur Al and get my dr to do it, than go here. read more

COOKIE CUTTER CHIROPRACTIC FACTORY. Let me start off saying I get chiropractic once a week and have been doing so for over 8 years. I am not new to chiropractic. I have had 4 chiropractors, not including this office in that time and I just moved here. First of all its really loud for a chiropractic office. Sitting in a really loud space where the employees yell to greet you when your trying to be calm and serene is frustrating. Second, while your sitting waiting WATCH the adjustment they give others and you'll see its the same adjustment they give you, unless you bring up an issue. I've been to other chiropractors who have the same open concept and they definitely never did the exact same adjustment on me that they gave to my kids or other patients. This office runs at a really fast pace. I did ask the front desk person if they could slow it down when I'm in there and she said that this place wasn't for me when I brought up my concerns. I was told they will not slow it down when I am in there for my adjustment and that they always run at this fast pace. Last, they never contacted my last chiropractor or asked for my records. To me that tells me they dont care. EVERY CHIROPRACTOR I have ever been to asks for the former chiropractors records. This helps to understand previous care and review previous X-rays to see if there have been improvements. When I brought this up I was asked if I wanted the chiropractor to have my records. REALLY? The fact they didn't care to see my previous records had me stunned. How are you going to taylor my adjustment to MY needs without seeing my past records? It will take loads of adjustments for them to get to know where my issues lie, if they even care. They didn't even take or type notes in my 3 sessions for their records when I looked at the computer to see what was up there. Last, my daughter has been going here for about a year and she even stated they do the same adjustment on her the exact same way every time, unless she has a concern. BIG RED FLAGS PEOPLE. Are you getting the right care for your needs? The staff and doctors can be super nice and upbeat, but is that a mask for the factory they are? ??? How can you get people on a track to better health when each person is different and has different chiropractic needs and your giving the exact same adjustment??? How is doing the same adjustment on each patient unique??? In the chiropractic world thats called cookie cutter and its highly frowned upon. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. They were giving out a $10 "visit with x-rays and follow up visit" at my gym so I decided to give it a shot. They said that the first visit wasn't gonna take more than 30-45min. I got there and waited for about 30 minutes even though I had an appointment and it was supposed to be quick. They gave me a "what to expect" sheet that said that the first visit was just a conversation with the chiropractor, a tour of the place and the x-rays, and then we would go over the x-rays on the follow up visit (which, btw can only be on Tuesdays at 6pm or Thursdays at 10.30am **what?**). Why couldn't we just look at the x-rays that same day is beyond me, other than just to force you to come back. Then I got the tour of the place, which isn't really necessary since you can pretty much see it all from the door, and I was taken to the exam room to wait for Dr O. I waited for another 10 minutes there. I almost got up and left, I had somewhere to be and I had already been there for over 45 minutes and hadn't even started. Dr O walked in, seemed nice at first. Up until the point when I told him about a bad previous experience with a chiropractor (he asked about this), where the adjustment didn't feel any different than a stretch and it was mainly a sales pitch, and he got all defensive about it. I wasn't even talking about him. He said that I didn't have to get the X-rays if I wanted to leave and I said I would get them since I was already there. He told me I was disrespecting his time, and at that point I had had enough. I told him he was disrespecting my time because I had been there for an hour and got nothing out of it, and that he didn't need to be rude to me. He got up and said "We are done here" and left the room. I asked him if he wasn't even gonna listen to what I had to say, and he asked me if I trusted him. HOW COULD I TRUST HIM? I don't even know him. He was supposed to earn my trust, he did the complete opposite and acted like a 10yr old storming out of a room. Very unprofessional and childish. Honestly the whole thing seemed like a scam and a huge waste of time. But hey, at least I got my $10 back. What's funny is that the $10 deal should be to give them the opportunity to show new patients how great going to the chiropractor is and have a very positive experience that will make you want to come back. Quite the opposite my friends. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. I do want to point out that everyone else working there was very nice and very polite. read more

Dr. O told me he would not adjust me a few days ago. This was basically because I saw him once early in 2013 and did not get on his payment plan, I didn't want to get on it at that time because I just couldn't afford it. Back in 2013, he adjusted me and explained my upcoming problem with my neck. I went on to see their financial person and I could not afford their plan for care so I turned down ongoing care with them. I paid my copay and left. Now here later part of 2015, I went back a few days ago with similar pain. His staff took me in as to go through the same procedures. But I did notice they didn't send me for x-rays again. They continued to take people back that came in after me. This time my first step was to see the doctor. Now after sitting for roughly 45mins IN GREAT PAIN not only from my neck, but I had just been in the ER the night before for really bad food poisoning or something so I was just not well all together. So I see Dr. O, he tells me I have the same thing (without taking an x-ray), I asked him was he going to take x-rays to compare the time between. He says no let me show you this and showed me my old x-rays (from 2 yrs ago) and says the problem is going to continue. He took me back to the room and asked me was I in a better financial position to get on his payment plan. I said no I can't afford it. I asked him was he going to adjust me, he said "No". Though I was in great pain. I turned and walked out VERY disappointed. As he continued to walk behind me trying to explain what my neck problem was. I would have felt better if he would have said ... (Ms. Williams I will adjust you, but due to what I see on your x-rays, your problem is going to continue without ongoing treatment. If you ever find yourself in a better financial position I would highly recommend you get ongoing care before it's too late.) His staff knew when I walked in and told them that I had been there before that he was not going to adjust me. They could have asked me that upfront instead of wasting an hour or so of my time. I have very good insurance which pays 100% (minus copay) of my chiropractor visits for 20 visits in a calendar year. When I first saw Dr. O he spoke of being a Christian this and that and spoke down on medical doctors. I firmly know now that he is a big hypocrite. He is no better than the docs he tried to downplay. read more

I know businesses aren't above having their staff and others purposely write good reviews in order to bring their reviews up. One step into this office and you will see exactly what I am talking about! I went to see this chiropractor, obviously because I was having issues and was in pain. After TWO visits the doctor still has not touched me!! All he and his staff has done is pour information at me on why I need their services and how my health and my LIFE depends on getting their services. This quack doctor (Dr. O) even went so far as to say that medical doctors are a waste unless in an emergency, then you don't have a choice really....otherwise, it's a waste of money. Really doc? Because I have left work TWICE to come see you and you have yet to try to help me. He did however give me a "Treatment Plan" of FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS after he poured his info on me to justify this outrageous pricing. I am not even that bad off. My neck gets a little stiff and all I wanted was an adjustment. He wanted to treat me for TWO DAMN YEARS and set me up on a monthly payment plan that was enough to purchase another damn car!
