I have a hell of a lot of respect for how they run this office. I'm shocked by the first review below. I myself am very particular about dentists and have had a lot of issues with dentists in the past. I went to a periodontist earlier in the year and I felt like they were trying to rip me off so I switched dentist on my wifes recommendation. I found the reception folks to be helpful and quick to answer questions. The hygienist was friendly and dr ash really out things over the top. A good doctor can explain issues in a way that folks can understand,no pressure and give different options. Dr ash made me feel at ease and explained all kinds of facets of my personal dental issues -all without making me feel like he was trying to sell me anything. My wife told me that dr ash and staff meet every morning to review each patient that is coming in that day. In addition they check in post appointment with all patients. Highly recommend.

After the 3rd call, I didn't receive a call back, but a text stating "Emily, yes, received calls but unfortunately we are out of town until Thursday morning. We are unable to call in pain meds as well , if you are able to find someone Monday I would try and secure an appointment." This text would have been very helpful after the first voice-mail I left on the emergency line. Now I know that they received the messages, but didn't bother to help us and give us the guidance we were desperately needing. I never asked for pain meds because my husband had already gotten some from the emergency room (that he had to go to because we didn't know what else to do). I called another dentist's emergency line who called me back immediately on a Sunday and was able to see my husband in the office the next day. He had exposed nerve and infection from a broken molar. This would have only gotten worse if the dentist (who didn't know us at all and did not have to take in an emergency patient) hadn't helped us. This experience showed me that the dentists at Austin Park Dental does not care about their patients. If they did, they would have helped us in our time of need. We will not be back to their office and urge anyone reading this to seek a different office as well.

At the end of the appointment I was told that both of my kids had 2 cavities each which would need to be filled at another appointment. I was also told that the child with the supernumerary tooth would need extensive orthodontic work, because that tooth absolutely could not be pulled. She has perfectly straight teeth, so there was no way I was about to agree to cosmetic dentistry without a second opinion. I took my children to a new dentist and SURPRISE neither of them had any cavities! And that supernumerary tooth? A simple extraction handled it. Austin Park Dental is a joke.

The lovely hygienist was informative, friendly and thorough. The dentist checked my teeth also, and we talked a bit. The cost was reasonable. I appreciated that I was not pressured to sign up for any sort of plan. My husband is also a patient of Dr. Williams. On multiple visits he is there for literally 40 seconds! I have timed it. Williams never smiles or is friendly. He told me he had to fill for a small cavity and he never even showed me the X-ray, which was a first time I have witnessed a dentist not do that. I have no idea why I even went a 2nd time. This guy really needs help and has no business running a dental operation. This guy is on Munson street now by the way.
