My husband had a dental emergency on a Saturday. He is a patient at Austin Park, so I attempted to call their emergency line 3 times in 24hrs. After the 3rd call, I didn't receive a call back, but a text stating "Emily, yes, received calls but unfortunately we are out of town until Thursday morning. We are unable to call in pain meds as well , if you are able to find someone Monday I would try and secure an appointment."
This text would have been very helpful after the first voice-mail I left on the emergency line. Now I know that they received the messages, but didn't bother to help us and give us the guidance we were desperately needing.
I never asked for pain meds because my husband had already gotten some from the emergency room (that he had to go to because we didn't know what else to do).
I called another dentist's emergency line who called me back immediately on a Sunday and was able to see my husband in the office the next day. He had exposed nerve and infection from a broken molar. This would have only gotten worse if the dentist (who didn't know us at all and did not have to take in an emergency patient) hadn't helped us.
This experience showed me that the dentists at Austin Park Dental does not care about their patients. If they did, they would have helped us in our time of need.
We will not be back to their office and urge anyone reading this to seek a different office as well. read more
