I have been going to Dr Eberlin for a few years now and I can't begin to tell you how much he has helped me. He is patient and very supportive when it comes to the choices I am torn with. He never makes me feel that there is something wrong with me. He offers several different options on how to go about making decisions in my life. Since working with him with my ptsd, it doesn't haunt me like it used to. He is also very funny and compassionate at the same time. I love that he will share similar situations that he has in his life without disclosing too much. He knows that patient/doctor line so well. I really don't know how I would of pulled through without him and he has been right about things when I try to keep my emotions inside, he warned me that it's ok to have them. I recommend him to anyone who wants a down to earth and very informative Dr. He may tell me things that I don't want to hear, but it's always the truth. And the truth hurts. But I like that he doesn't beat around the bush. Thank you so much Dr. Eberlin for everything you do for me and will continue to do till you retire. I am a Veteran and a single mother going thru a very difficult time. I have never been open to mental health services. I went through 6 other Dr.s who only threw textbook tactics at me and said things like "so what I hear you saying is..." I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I was ready to give up until I was referred to Dr. Eberlin. I was very skeptical, being that I also have trust issues. Dr. Eberlin quickly earned my trust and respect. He effectively encouraged me to honestly address all my issues and concerns. He is very down to earth, a straight-shooter and a rare jewel. I was very disappointed with the services from Dr. Michael B. Eberlin and his condescending character. He was disrespectful to my cultural and religious beliefs, which were different from his. He used his educational background as a status fixture, "I am a scientist with a PhD and I KNOW how to do my job," with little regard for mine from a different cultural background. I felt peeled of my dignity. I should have looked him up before making the appointment. He is currently on two years of stayed suspension and two years of probation on Professional Misconduct and Discipline under the NYS Office of Professions. Great Psychologists are very difficult to find. Dr. Eberlin has been my psychologist for the past 2 1/2 years. He is seeing me through a very difficult time in my life. Dr. Eberlin is a professional that is very straightforward and helps me figure things out. He gives me great insight on my problems. Dr. Eberlin is someone that I can confide in. He is the most obnoxious and awful as a person and as a psychologist. How a person like this can be a psychologist. Intimidated me the parent and the same to my son. Doctors like this with no feelings and treating people who are going thru different psychological problems a disaster, just image what is causing to patients.
