Our tour guide brought us here and I'm pretty sure he gets a commission. The place was full of tourists and they had a large selection of silver jewelry. The sales people are on top of you nonstop. If you're someone that just likes to look, you're going to feel hounded. However, if you enjoy being catered on, they're good at that. Lots of cold AC and refreshments are offered as you enter. Am I getting a bargain? No, I doubt it. They'll give you a standard 20% off, but the advertised price is probably market up anyway. There's a jewelry shop about 4 doors down that I preferred. Our tour driver took us to this beautiful gallery where I fell in love with their collectibles. They have beautiful jewelry and Rodo Padilla folk art pottery and lots of other wonderful artwork your home. The store is divided into two sides with the collectibles and art work on one side and the other side with less expensive collectibles. There is something for everyone. The employees are gracious and let you know the history of the artists and you get a free margarita or coke. How much better could it be. read more

Unhappy that I purchased 32 pieces of Talavera. Two had the paint peel after one cycle in the, dishwasher. Sat in my cabinet for 4 years cause I didn't go back. I called never got an answer. Today I arrived and they want to see me replacements. Thanks but no thanks. Now I have a couple mismatched sets buy I won't take them at their word which was if they fail we will replace it. I literally used these two, piexes, for one meal. read more
