My experience has been calling the Allied Behavioral Consultant number and being put on hold for at least 5 minutes (sometimes much longer) before ever reaching the Dr. office. Rifkin does not have a good bedside manor, and just stares at his computer screen and types while you talk. He will not write prescriptions for more than 3 months at a time, and with my insurance, each office visit costs $150! I have been on the same combination of medications for years, and yet I'm still asked to come in every 12 weeks to see him in person so that I can refill my prescriptions. I am in the process of finding a new psychiatrist. I do no recommend Allied Behavioral Consultants.

Don't use these people. On a day when the roads were bad with ice and snow for my first…read moreappointment, they didn't even wait 10 minutes for me! The park lot was confusing, they gave me the wrong room number, the door to the building was locked. PLUS, I couldn't call them either to ask them how to get in or where they even were (it went straight to the answering machine). Didn't even call me to ask if something happened. Tells me how compassionate they actually are. People come here for mental problems, and they don't even treat you with decency of waiting for a few more minutes on a bad road day. What an ordeal.
