To the lovely Claudia who assisted me, I am beyond thrilled with my engagement ring! It's taken me so long to find just the right size, color, and design to fit with my plain gold wedding band (we bought our wedding rings first, funny enough). Upon entering the shop area, I was taken aback by just how delicate and beautiful all of the items were. So cute, so precious. All of the glittering treasures distracted me for quite a while. I couldn't help but look at every item on display. I knew instantly that I would find what I had in mind. I was searching for something simple and classic yet not quite the norm. There was no question that I'd end up with an emerald (considering that my last name will soon be 'Green'), but just a matter of whether or not there would be a jeweler that had decent emerald rings with yellow gold bands rather than silver. More often than not, if a location did have rings that met those standards, the rings seemed somewhat cheap-looking. Stone too big, setting too strange, dull gold, etc. To top it off, I have large knuckles and rather bony fingers to consider, making ring sizing a major issue. Not only did Claudia give me an accurate ring sizing, she let me try on the ring that caught my eye, along with one of the plain gold wedding bands on display to mimic how my wedding band would fit beside it (we had ordered our wedding rings but they wouldn't arrive until later in the month). She gave me her honest opinions and was incredibly patient, explaining the processes of care plans and resizing within the business, as the ring only came in larger sizes and would have to be made from scratch to fit my finger. I was given a strikingly accurate wait time for when my specially made ring would arrive, and only just picked it up. It was late evening when we left the shop, and the setting sun provided a stunning warm light which made the emerald glow nicely.
