Then he hides behind his sister. When motions need to be submitted to the court or decisions objected to or appealed, he refuses with little or no reasoning other than "it will upset the judge." He will work with opposing counsel and sign on your behalf without discussing it with you and make decisions not in your best interest - to not upset the judge. When you try to establish expectations that he will: start responding to emails and calls, not sign court documents without your knowledge, submit motions you request, and object to orders or decisions that are not in your best interest, he quits! (he informed the court 12 days before trial and us 2 business days before). it is tantamount to theft! He will take your money, represent you poorly, and quit if you hold him accountable to actually BE an attorney.

Finally I received a very passive aggressive email in which he even brought up my mental health. Mr. Candelaria made me feel like a bother for calling his office, when a simple response would have been the solution.
