From the moment you walk in, the office feels welcoming, organized, and genuinely patient centered. What I appreciate most is that he never recommends extraneous procedures or interventions. He really takes the time to educate and works with patients in alignment with their values, which is something that is hard to find. You feel like you are being cared for, not sold to. Recently I have been on a health journey and wanted my mercury fillings removed. Dr Ahdoot carefully reviewed my X rays with me, walked through the plan in a thoughtful and thorough way, and made sure I felt completely comfortable every step of the process. I was re-scanned over a month ago because my bottom teeth are not where they need to be. At one point in my treatment I was supposed to be given more trays but instead, the provider gave me my Invisalign retainers. When I mentioned to him that these were Invisalign retainers, he told me no, that they were a new and improved version of Invisalign to move your teeth faster. I reminded him that I used to work in orthodontics and Vivera retainers are Invisalign brand retainers. He then proceeded to call Invisalign and get me the correct trays. I received a text message stating that I am responsible for $2500. When I declined to pay that and explained my situation, I was told everything was fine and we were just waiting on the trays. I was last contacted on December 8 by the doctor and I've called the office numerous times as well as sent numerous text messages. No response from anyone in the office. I've been left with no choice but to file a complaint with the dental board for patient neglect and withholding product that I have paid for. Tried calling the office again but the number is disconnected. I did received a text message stating that they are moving and had to cancel all appointments. Then started with calcium deposits between my teeth, then he went on to saying I need deep cleaning in 2 parts, then he said I need to extract all 4 of my wisdom teeth when 3 wisdom teeth that are fine with general anesthesia and get it over with, then I needed collagen and a bone filler. I said I want only one tooth taken out which is bothering me. He got upset and told the girl in the first office "she only want 17 taken out" Then he took me to a lady in another office. She sold me a $2500+ package of all the crap I didn't need. I went to get a simple consultation for my really painful wisdom tooth and I came out with 2 printouts of my teeth and a $2500+ estimate.
