He is a compassionate person who cares about the whole person and their health issues. He and his staff operate like a well-oiled machine and are as thorough as I have seen. His staff is also highly-skilled, compassionate, professional, polite and thorough. I have had 2 procedures involving needles injecting meds to remedy long-term, persistent pain issues of a common nature: arthritis in the neck and sciatica in the lower back. During the procedures, Jen helped with any discomfort by deep tissue rubbing of the arm and shoulders which helped a lot. Venessa, Raj, Kanta and Brook were all helpful, professional and eager to be warm and helpful. This staff is top-notch. First, I did not receive their bill and I called my insurance company who told me that they just received it as well and it looked like the office staff of RiverCrest had forgotten to send the bill. Next I called Rivercrest and spoke with someone in their office and asked why this bill for a visit 6 months previous was just being sent now and they got real nasty. When I called the billing staff to inquire about my bill they had the opportunity to find out why I did not pay it - because they didn't send it and I didn't receive it. If they would have said, oh we will send you the bill I would have paid it. Instead they got nasty which is why they get a negative review. Customers buy more than a product or service, we pay for correct billing and follow up and when businesses like Rivercrest fail on their billing and customer service the entire business fails.

There was a lack of staff and a request for a nurse went unanswered. When you are seeking pain medication and no one responds to the Bell it is pretty serious. The second experience had to do with a back injection of cortisone for stenosis of the spine. Following the injection I was unable to stand or control my urine. I was left with paralysis in my legs and my bladder and Dr Donatello did not respond to phone messages after I returned home. The leg surgery was performed by Dr Berg and he was excellent both in terms of his care and in terms of the results of the surgery.

I needed a bit more pain med.and when I requested it I had to literally beg,I was in a world of hurt for the whole night! I will not put this on the doctor because I explained to him prior to surgery about my past use and abuse with these meds. Now prior to this surgery I had been here 7 months earlier for a shoulder replacement so I had quite a bit of pain meds. In me prior to this,I am a opioid tolerant paitent and going in to this I already was very concerned as to how this was going to go,I and many who unfortunately misused narcotics in the past are difficult to treat for this type of pain,pre-op and post-op, there's way to much to type here so I have to cut to the chase,when a nurse comes in your room and asks where your pain level is and you tell her it's over a 4,around a 6,7 then doesn't that speak volumes that maybe we need to address this instead of lectures, or perhaps if this keeps up maybe call the Doctor? I Had my other knee done,shoulder,hemorrhoid,meniscus tear surgery and most of the time most nurses did and should of handled things better,until that nurse or Doctor actually goes through what I did than They can truly relate, until than they have no clue,shame on you nurses,doctors who classify most people getting by on a pain medication thats for opioid naive patients, we require a special understanding, paitence,trust and transparency unlike those,real pain requires real pain relief approaches,I understand how this world today caused so much chaos and headaches for the dear doctors and nurses,what many of us did,whether years ago or not should not make Healthcare professionals walk on eggshells,or just turn a deaf ear to our pain,you wouldn't like it! I was a little hesitant about starting over again with someone new, but I gave it a chance. After my initial meeting, I felt the same experienced yet relaxed vibe I had with Botros. Oles told me he knew Botros, and shared similar beliefs and practices. He wasn't wrong. After one session, I knew I was in good hands. Oles too didn't just ask questions, but listened. He didn't pressure me to come in countless times, but understood my crazy schedule and left the occurrence of future visits to me.
