Because of the nature of our needs, I wanted to meet in person, knowing that eventually we would work with this firm in the future on a much bigger project. When we arrived, we were notified that Emily had a family emergency and instead we would meet with her assistant. Disappointed, we gave it a pass, emergencies happen and we dismissed it. After meeting, we decided that before we could move forward, that we really wanted to meet Emily first. So we set a Zoom. After the meeting, we felt comfortable enough to move forward. We needed a law firm that we could depend on and we thought we found it. We were told to give her 3 weeks and she would have the first draft for us. Along with the draft, she also promised to send some information regarding legal terminologies used in the document. Three weeks pass, nothing! So I emailed her to ask for an update. NO response! So I wait 3 more weeks, nothing! I emailed a second time asking for an update on week 6. I got an automated response that Emily was on vacation and would contact us when she returns on Monday July 6. I waited until July 15th NINE days later to call. I was told that she was in a meeting and asked if I wanted to leave a voicemail. I left a voicemail in the morning indicating that if we did not get a return call by the end of the day, I will consider our business concluded. I decided to instead give her until close of business on the 16th. Well, nobody from her office contacted us! No Emily, not her assistant, not her partner, Nothing! I understand that things happen and if there were personal reasons why she failed to contact us, at the very least, her assistant or somebody at her office should have made an effort to reach out with an explanation. Imagine, if during this time, something happened to you and/or your significant other. Imagine my situation where the guardianship of my son went to the wrong person in our old will! Think long and hard about using this firm! Will they be there for you when your family needs them? To be honest, we really felt good about Emily. However, when it comes to my family, I simply can't leave our financial affairs and protection of our son in the hands of a firm that's not going to be there when we need them the most. Therefore, I do not recommend this firm.

Through the hard work and dedication of Greg and Melissa, I was able to get primary custody of all three children. I have close to 90% custody. It was not a miracle. It was solely because of Greg and Melissa that the children are as happy and healthy as they are now. At times, I felt like they treated me as if I was their only client. They responded to every single phone call and email, even if it was in the evening. I was going through a high conflict divorce with a very hostile person. Although I was very upset and pessimistic, they kept an unwavering focus on what was best for me and the children. They remembered everything about our lives, inside and out. They were both so empathetic and optimistic. Both in court and in conversations with me, they kept reinforcing that I focus on what is best for the children and to let all the little things go. The children can now have a normal childhood because of everything they have done. We will always be indebted to them. I paid him retainer fee, then get billed to find out he charges per text, per email, he charged me more than a quarter of the retainer fee just to look over my file. Not one court appearance, nothing filed to help with my case, yet somehow my whole retainer is spent. I tried to fire him multiple times before retainer was spent but he said he'd "help me out" & lower his fees and blah blah blah. I got charged when letting him know how opposing party was violating. I asked to file something so I could see my kids more, MULTIPLE TIMES!!! with proof and good reason. He did not help me at all, basically just used my weakness and desperation to get my kids to get over 3 thousand dollars... DID NOT PROVIDE SERVICE REQUESTED. Well since my remaining retainer has just vanished, he has NOW allowed me to fire him.... would've been Better off saving my money and representing myself at this point. Sucks to feel taken advantage of as if I haven't been taken advantage of enough. SAVE YOUR MONEY !!! Find someone who is willing to work with you and communicate within reason, someone who won't constantly leave you blindsided. This guy padded my bill, kept the information I hired him to obtain hidden from me (most likely a courtesy to the apposing council and/or Hearing Officer Mcnulty), filed an improper petition that got denied and wasted a month of my life, not to mention the relentless emails that he charges 50 dollars an email for and resent to me multiple times. Not to mention he will pick and choose the work he does and be very vague in giving you open ended answers when you ask questions. This list can go on and on... It started out slow the first month then I got hit with a letter that states the price going up and that I "agreed" to it when I didn't. He's also known for suing clients like he did to me, for 8 thousand dollars of those useless emails. He presented a contract at court that I had never seen before and he recited a law to the judge that makes it binding contract. I think he's a scam artest at best and a waste of time. Save your time and money.
