He remembers all our conversations. This worked out great for me because I have no patience or desire to repeat things over and over. Your sessions with him are totally about you. At the time I was seeing him, I was in a very dark place. But after my Sessions I always left his office feeing confident, happy and light hearted! This Psychologist was exactly what I need to achieve my mental health wellness goals. The receptionist was a awesome! Very confident and always welcoming when I entered. She was also very flexible with my appointments. I needed later appointments due to my unique schedule. When there was a time she could not get me in she'd put me on a cancellation list. It worked out great. Overall, my entire experience was fantastic all the way around. I left a far better person then when I first arrived. I learned so much about my mental health and mental health overall. The education I received from Dr. Bishara was and still has been, so effective for bettering my myself, my communication skills, thoughts and my actions. Dr. Bishara has also made last minute cancellations, literally an hour before my meeting with him. So apparently he can do it, but if a patient tries to reschedule the appt last minute, you're still on the hook to pay a whopping $250, and deal with the uber-bitchy attitudes of the girls in the office. They don't list their cancellation or rescheduling policy anywhere in the office for patients to see. They say "it's in the contract you signed on your first visit to the office." Right... the contract you rushed me to sign, so I didn't have time to read the fine print, and which you also don't give me a copy for my own records to review. How convenient. Dr. Bishara is a crotchety old man that also has an attitude. He literally made me cry in the 1st session I had with him after having to reschedule that previous appt, saying "why should I schedule you in when you don't show up? How can I help you when you clearly don't want to be helped?" WTF? Is that seriously how you talk to a patient? I WAS SICK. I COULDN'T MAKE THE APPT. No need to crucify me over it. He offers nothing in the sessions, just sits there and lets you talk the whole time. When you're tired of talking, there will be long, uncomfortable silences because he's either having a cat nap or looking at paperwork and NOT paying attention to anything you're saying. Please don't waste your time here or give this horrible office a dime of your hard-earned money. I have seen countless therapists throughout my adult life, and this office is bottom-of-the-barrel, worst experience you will ever have. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

She was SO SWEET over the phone so I knew my girlfriend would feel comfortable. My girlfriend has been feeling a little "cloudy" I guess you can say & I've been to therapists before so I know how helpful they can be. I explained to my girlfriend that it can be scary - opening up to a stranger - but I promised her that it would make her feel better. She was in there for about an hour (the most anxious hour for me from the waiting room but thank goodness they have that soothing music playing) at around 6, Alyson came out to bring me into the room. I sat on the couch & my girlfriend was a COMPLETELY different person. She looked relieved & happier. When we walked out of the office, she broke down crying, hugged me & said "thank you so much for finding her for me."
