I was and still am convinced that therapy is the greatest scam in history. It does not help you get or maintain anything in life. You talk for 50 min, and then what? Do you get a job? Someone to love you? Money? NO. It does not solve problems or assist with real issues inside or out. They do not tell you what to do/not do, which most people who are unstable desperately need. So what is the point? It's simply not tangible or practical. I lost everything (job, housing, spouse, etc) under their care/guidance. They do not help you achieve a "life worth living." Quite the opposite. You are supposed to have 24/7 support, but they have very strict conditions such that practically speaking, you are not allowed to contact them outside of your session. So you feel hopeless with no one to turn to, esp at night when most of us start to become depressed and cannot sleep. No one cares. They also do not support or follow up after you leave. Poorly designed and executed program. They failed me. I also left a review on Google (has more/different info).

I explained to my girlfriend that it can be scary - opening up to a stranger - but I promised her that it would make her feel better. She was in there for about an hour (the most anxious hour for me from the waiting room but thank goodness they have that soothing music playing) at around 6, Alyson came out to bring me into the room. I sat on the couch & my girlfriend was a COMPLETELY different person. She looked relieved & happier. When we walked out of the office, she broke down crying, hugged me & said "thank you so much for finding her for me." When we arrived I told three people we are new I don't know what group or where to go. They had someone pick up my son and take him to a small room with two other kids his age. The room had no air and my son came out drenched in sweat. I was ushered to a class, which then I found out was the wrong one. I left the class and went to check on my son. There was no activity for the kids to sit and do together. My son was playing in his own. And there was only one toy. So I left him there with no one even speaking to him in a new environment. :( as the people were bringing the kids I kept thinking ok where are the little ones? Where is my son?! I went to check and they were in the front. My son was on his own by the door with no one paying attention. No one came to get me. I didn't know. He could have walked out or anyone could have taken him! I also felt horrible because he was probably like where is my mom. I still feel sick to my stomach.
