Bob was a bit hard to get ahold of at first, but he's in demand and working jobs with his team. We scheduled a free consultation the day after my closing, and he was flexible in moving it up a week earlier when that option opened up. Bob arrived exactly on time and started with the attic. He was able to assure me that the water discoloration didn't look to stem from active leaks, and his services wouldn't be needed in that space. He did recommend adding better ventilation through the MassSave audit program. We then went to the basement where Bob reached a similar conclusion. For the two beams with visible mold, he said that the issue wasn't severe enough to warrant a professional's assistance, and that I could clean it myself. I really appreciated how Bob took the time to evaluate my new home even though the outcome was that I wouldn't be hiring him. The best part? As we were leaving through the finished basement, Bob noticed some suspect bubbling on a newly painted wall. He pulled out his moisture meter and was able to determine that many segments of the wall were at 100% saturation. It's likely that the recent heavy rain and removal of the dehumidifier while the house has been unoccupied resulted in this issue, which would have otherwise gone unnoticed until closing. Bob was able to recommend some initial moves that we could take (redirect gutters, run dehumidifier and fans in the space, etc) before ripping things apart. Depending on how that goes, I may have an opportunity to write a review for his services... but for now, greatly appreciate what he's done for me so far.

They did not follow that request and instead charged my credit card $1,157.66, even though I understood my card would only be used if the carrier refused to pay. They did not provide the estimate to the insurance company/adjuster as requested. When I contacted the office to address these issues and request proper documentation/process, the communication was frustrating and the office staff was rude and unhelpful. Due to the lack of professionalism and transparency, I ended the relationship and will not use them again.

I came home to downstairs that was left clean even though they took sheet rock down. Very professional and clean through the whole thing. They went through our stuff and put what they could back neatly and tossed the wet stuff. Colby did great making sure things were placed back neatly and not in a shamble mess. I had him clean my ottoman because I spilled some water on it and it left a water stain. He did tell me that it might not come up. That water stain came up but he left other water stains and black marks all over my ottoman. When I texted him about the black spots shortly after he left he responded w a rude defensive answer telling me that he didn't leave the black marks and told me it was a stained ottoman to start with. I told him it was not a stained ottoman. Since then no one will respond to my texts or messages. Horrible customer service and expect a late arrival as others have mentioned. If someone just got back to me and fixed my ottoman this review would not be here.

I was moving and needed to get the carpets cleaned, so I bought the deal and called. They were very nice, especially when I said "yes, I'd love to have it done on the 31st, like everyone else!". I added a flight of stairs for $49 as well. Received a call the day before (yesterday) giving me a two-hour window, and today, the nice guy (whose name I don't remember, sorry) called to ask if he could come a bit early? EARLY? Um, sure. Quickly got everything into a couple of rooms without carpet, gave the dog some toys, and the three rooms AND the stairs were cleaned in no time. Really, I couldn't believe it when he said he was finished, and the carpets looked GREAT. My goal is to not have carpet in the future, but if I do, I would definitely call these guys again, Groupon or not. Tips for good Yelpers: vacuum first (they are there to clean the carpets, not vacuum them for you), give your nice cleaner some water on the way out and a tip. And a "thank you". And call Beckwith!!
