Never visiting him to discuss the case until a review was written and then they went to complain of the review in person. They have since then had it removed by paying a company $$$$ to take it off here. They told us so many lies from he would be in rehab to he will get out as soon as he is transferred to the prison. Not one thing they said would happen actually did. They denied him being in the courtroom to see his mom, sister cousins and friends who were there every court appearance. He is still incarcerated he was transfered the Statesville after the actual paperwork was filed approximately 5 weeks after it was supposed to be. He was under the impression he would be released immediately after arriving there and being processed. Instead he sat there for 3 weeks locked in a cell 24/7. Then transfered again to a prison 7 hours away from the nearest family for the remaining portion of his sentence of 18 month for the $18,000 they took from him. If you hire these incompetent pair of shysters, you will be extremely manipulated and lied to. I hope enough people read this before they have it removed for $$$$. I sat in the courtroom witnessing all these events in person and was involved in the majority of the proceedings. Here is the original review that they had removed. These two lawyers (liars) Hodgkinson and Nikitas are the worst lawyers I've ever witnessed in a courtroom. They come unprepared to every proceeding. I have a friend that has hired them to defend him in an aggravated dui. He has been in jail since June and they still have not reduced his charges or defended him with any integrity. The states Attourney quit on a Friday and on the following Wednesday he had court. The incompetent lawyers had no idea this happened 5 days later. This means they not only didn't follow up on the case but all the other cases they were handling that were that States attorney cases. Daniel Hodgkinson was like a deer in the headlights. He told the judge he had no idea. This team of lawyers should experience a year in jail and maybe they will work harder for their clients. Already paid them $11,000.00 and owe $7,000 more so far. DO NOT THINK ABOUT HIRE THESE ATTORNEYS UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR FREEDOM AND MONEY!!!!!They lied about what was going to happen before every court hearing. Update he was sentencing to have a felony and classify his time serviced as prison time. Might have been better off with the public defender. May have received the same sentence but had all that money and not the lawyers. I watched the public defender work miracles in the courtroom with serious offenders while waiting for his case to be heard. Also the lawyers visited with him 2 times the whole 11 1/2 months. One was immediately after they read this review. So if you are being represented by them and are incarcerated than just have someone write a review and they'll be there before you can say "Get me out!"
