This store is great for scrapbooking products because they have aisles upon aisles of stickers to add to your collection. They also have tons of baking supplies (mostly Wilton products) that will be more than sufficient to aid you in your baking hobby. What I don't like about Michaels is that their merchandises are pretty expensive. Make sure to have a 40% or 50% off coupon when you want to buy something. This coupon helps make their merchandises more affordable. What I do like is that they offer cake decorating classes during the week for really cheap. I completed two of their Wilton cake decorating classes for about $20 each. The reason why I deducted one star is due to the slow customer service at the cash registers. Lines can get pretty long when there are only two registers open. They need to open up at least another register to get the lines moving faster.

This was the only store nearby that I could grab it from. I received daily reminders via email to pick up my item once it was ready. In the store, there's an area right by checkout where they have all the pickup orders. The smaller orders are on the racks and you can grab those easily. For the larger packages there was a sign indicating that you should push a button on the sign to get assistance from a staff member, since these were in special lockers. I could see the lockers but didn't want to get in trouble so I followed the instructions. It was oddly busy at Michaels so I stood around waiting for a while until the lines finally died down and an employee was able to give me my package. I was already sort of annoyed from waiting and checked if it was the right item. It was not. I was able to pull up the order confirmation on my phone which had all the details of the item I was trying to get. I decided to see if it was in store and it was the last one that was left. I brought this up to the register to see if the employee had to do anything to make the swap. She insisted that the two items were the exact same since the SKU was the same. They weren't since they weren't the same brand and literally had different coloured backings.............so yeah.............sure.

They always have what I need and things I didn't know I needed. The prices are far superior to Michael's and better than Curry's. Plus the discounts are great and the rewards program is solid too. Oh and did I mention it's animal friendly? I can take my dog for walks in Petsmart and Deserres, Oh and also the customer bathroom is pretty cool. And free bags, who needs to pay a nickel for a bag?
