Received a call that they needed to be picked up by Sunday July 23rd. I had just gotten out of the hospital and was still having effects from pneumonia. I drove to the store and waited for the sales lady to finish with a customer (that took at least a 1/2 hour). Meanwhile another customer goes to the other register and starts waiting. The employee at the register then leaves and goes in the back for awhile. Finally another employee comes out and tells me to get in her line (behind 2 other people that had came in after me). I do so, despite starting to weak (lasting effects from pneumonia). By this time I have been waiting over a 1/2 hour to pick up overly expensive Christmas ornaments. I finally get up to the front of the line and the employee asks me to step aside so she can check out another customer because "he only has one card". I left as it was apparent David's Hallmark no longer values me as a customer. Again, customer service used to be excellent and it was a place I enjoyed shopping, but apparently it has gone the way most businesses have lately, poor customer service and employees who work as little as possible for their paychecks.

Products are in the wring place and that is normal. Working here sucked. They mostly cared about going in the warehouse that's an absolute mess to get around. Learning was worse at times considering I stated I wanted the job so I can work the register. They rarely ever made me do it, had me watch and learn from people who don't help and got treated badly when I fail to speak up. I got sent to the office multiple times cause workers claimed I Sai no to them when I never spoke up. I just started doing what I was told and instead I would get thrown at. What ruined it more was when I got fired over trying to get myself better. I tried to almost hurt myself with a boxcutter but they took it as a threat. They want people that are perfect, not ones who struggle with mental health. All they give a damn about is getting product out. They don't care about you at all. Overall, The place is a disaster. I joined so I could work the register and have my boyfriend be able to check up on me. Instead, I kept falling apart over them and am fired over trying to get the help I need 0/10

I enjoy going there to purchase cleaning products, hygiene products, office products, foods, etc. Some products are manufactured in the United States, and during my most recent visit, I felt surprised to see name-brand products such as Perrier, San Pellegrino, and stroopwafels. Other departments include arts and crafts, kitchen and dining, floral and home decor, party supplies, beauty products, toys, and pet supplies. After going on a "shopping spree" and filling up my entire basket, I saw that only one cash register was open. The cashier Emmalyn quickly rung up another customer's purchase, so I did not wait long. The cashier was very friendly, and I appreciated that she carefully ensured that my bottles of rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide had tightly closed caps. She also double-bagged the heavy items. I bought everything that I wanted, and I spent only $15 total!

The past two trips have been pretty pleasant and I am proud to support this local business, as the staff have been very helpful-from recommendations on certain comic series to helping me set up my subscriptions, everyone has been helpful and very nice. The arrangement was made the wrong way, with the flowers facing the clips instead of running parallel to them. They made the same mistake last year, corrected it, and apologized, even admitting their mistake. This year, I sent a picture of how the arrangement should be oriented, but it was still made wrong. The difference is that this year, the arranger remarked that I was the only person she ever had trouble with. When I asked her if she saw the way it needed to be made from the picture I sent. She said yes and no. ???????? I explained what I wanted when I ordered. I told them about last year's mistake and sent a picture. what more can I do??
