I believe this closes at sunset but I've been out here at sunrise and it's been pretty quiet until 9:30 am or so. There are a few walking trails and the docks/front of the boathouse (the cement areas) do flood during heavy rain. Definitely a Glastonbury community symbol... :) Lots of kids fishing on the dock/by the river. Playground on the premises & then the Glastonbury parks and rec manages the fields behind the clubhouse. I've been here when there was a wedding and it seemed intimate and romantic. I'm a big fan of this spot!

Everyone said the food was excellent and the service was delightful. I didn't have to do a thing!! They set up everything, served everything and cleaned it all up and packed and stored all the leftovers in our fridge. They made it so simple and easy for me so that I could enjoy the party. Enter Sharon Elizabeth's: it has a user friendly site and it was easy to find a beautiful bouquet that fit my budget. There was a large selection and they delivered to the location I needed. The best part was that the bouquet was so beautiful - and exactly what I was looking for! I've attached a picture that the receiver got. They absolutely loved it too! What I especially loved is that I gave instructions to knock and hand the flowers over personally if they could. I got a phone call from the delivery staff asking if it was okay that they left it by the door since the receivers did not answer. I did end up missing the voicemail and didn't get to respond, but it was so thoughtful of them. I've never had a flower delivery company check in with me like that. I know it's nerve wracking ordering flowers online especially if you live out of state, but I would highly recommend this company. They are customer service oriented and are great and creating beautiful arrangements for your loved ones.
