Well lit store. Clean and spacious. Smells delightful in here of flowers and scents. Xmas clearance is at an all time high, 60% or more on wrapping paper, figurines, Xmas cards, Santa decor etc. Flowers, custom frame sections, T-shirt's and fleece jackets for graphic designers. Puzzles, puzzle glue, jewelry, arts and crafts etc. Staff friendly, cashier is available but kiosks are available for speedier service. Prices varies. Great store enjoy the creativity. Fun to look at the holiday decorations and food nd gifts for the holidays.

Every time I visit this particular location, the service leaves much to be desired. Every employee in this store seems miserable. You're lucky if you get eye contact and a smile while they take your money. I enjoy shopping at Michaels and think it's a shame the service in this store is so unfriendly. If you have a return to make, be prepared to be questioned, ridiculed and judged...EVEN with a receipt!!! read more

I had a wonderful experience at Michaels.. needed a frame that was an odd size and had a picture with colors that seemed muted. She took her time...helped me look at many on her computer which shows how the whole frames looks when it is finished! I loved this place... and the patience and expertise this lady had at the framing section. You rock, Michaels! read more

Extremely upset with how I was treated. We had received as a gift a cookie sheet that was too large for our older homes oven and just wished to exchange the item for something we could use. We were given the actual store receipt from the gift giver and I could see they had used a coupon on the item. However I am not asking for money back just the value of the item to use on a like item was possibly even looking at (2) smaller sheets and gladly pay the full retail difference but was told that in no way was this possible they would only give me the discounted rate and would not offer any discount on exchanged item. This is extremely upsetting especially since they are opening a brand new store in our city however with poor customer service as this I fear you will not be in business for long read more

Had a not so nice visit to Michael's this week. Went in with a 50% off coupon for one item. Got something for $8 and two things to paint for $1.59 each. My bill was over $12 so I asked if the coupon went through. She said it was only for the $1.59 item because nothing that ends in a zero counts for the coupon. I was ok with that but wanted to go back into the store and find something to replace the $8 item so I could get more than $0.80 discount for my trip. I told her I could put it back and she snatched it out of my hands. Told me she couldn't give it back until she unscanned it. Again, I was ok with that. Then she decided to lecture me on the coupon laws and was not in a good tone as if I had done something horrifically wrong! I told her I wanted to get out of line an go back to shopping. She slowly unscanned each item (all three of them) as slowly as she could to delay me. I was still fine because I had my daughter with me and this was supposed to be our fun trip to the store (my kid hates shopping). Went back and found a similar item for $7.99. When we got up to the register the lady who rang me out was walking away. I told my daughter that we would get someone else to check us out. Then the cashier came back and said to me I'm glad too that I don't have to deal with you. I couldn't believe what she said to a customer-shouting across the store. Her name was Barb and I'm torn on whether or not to complain to the GM. This Michaels had gotten a face lift. It's more organized than the old store the down the street. Still seems to have less stuff than the Michaels on Brentwood but when I need something quick for my crafting projects it does the job. read more
