I shop online with store pickup because many times the items are 30-50% cheaper than if I were to shop in- store. However, for the last three items I purchased (as shown to be in stock), my order was canceled because the items were unavailable. It would be nice if management would look into keeping the website up to date. Most stores have their database set to remove items as soon as they are sold. This has been an inconvenience to me as I assumed I would have what I needed to complete a project. read more

If it's the only place to buy your art and crafting supplies - go for it. But if you can buy it somewhere else... Michael's is super duper over priced. Particular in their fine marker selection. The Prisma Color markers were DOUBLE the price I could buy them for at Staples and I eventually bought them at Staples on sale for half their already cheaper price. read more

since we don't have a lot of places like this around here, I appreciate Michaels! They have a huge variety of arts and crafty supplies and ideas! Love the little bins at the front of the store with really cool $1 bargains! Their beading/jewelry dept has grown and now has quite a large variety of choices to chose from! I like Michaels...a LOT. OVERPRICED! My husband made Maple City Hobbies his destination when he wanted to build model…read morerockets with the kids. I don't think he was aware of the existence of Hobby Lobby at the time, so he made the much farther 45 minute trek to Goshen to MCH. Hubby said the store was slightly dirty but the person working polite. He said they had a decent selection, so he purchased 2 model rockets: Big Bertha & Starship Octavius. After finishing assembly, the kids decided they wanted to choose different paint colors for their rockets as well as pick out their next project (building model cars). Needing to go to Mishawaka, we went to Hobby Lobby (HL) this time. Of course their selection is massive, and there were a lot of things hubby saw there that he also saw at MCH. His excitement quickly turned into frustration when he realized that a lot of the same products he had purchased at MCH were almost double that the price of HL. He paid $16 for a rocket (Starship Octavius) at MCH & the same one was at HL for $9.99. He found this to be the case with most every aspect of the project. Talk about disappointing! He vowed to only do his hobby affairs with HL moving forward. Very sad, because we always want to support small businesses.. but gouging the prices in such a way is what makes folks turn their backs on these small mom & pop shops, and steer more towards the big box stores.

I was surprised how much home decor they had that I found myself wanting for my home. They have lots of nice looking fake flowers that looked like if styled correctly could look real and make a great looking bunch of flowers. The thing I was drawn to was they have the big bulky yarn for those chunky blankets that you dont use knitting needles for but your arms and hands instead. I'm hoping to make one in the next year, so I might need to check Hobby Lobby out when I get ready to do that. My best friend and I have also been looking into making some quilts this year. They appear to have a lot of the items you would need for a quilt project and a few booklets of information also. I look forward to starting my next hobby with the help of Hobby Lobby.

We entered the store and met an unassuming young man named Ben. After asking a few questions he brought our 3 pairs of shoes to fit me. Then he brought out 12 more pairs of shoes to fit me. Two important points; 1. He worked his but off and I believe he does this for every customer. 2. I purchased 3 pairs of shoes from him. In my 74 years of living I have NEVER!!!!! purchased more than 1 pair of shoes at a time. My wife also purchased 2 pairs of shoes (1 on backorder) Ben brought out 8 pairs of shoes to fit my wife's foot. A great young man with great work ethic who knows shoes. Go to Woldruffs and ask for Ben. He is a great representative of Woldruffs. Oh one more point. As he packaged our shoes Ben tied up the shoelaces as they were originally and , wait for it, He walked us to the door and held the door open for us as we left.

Well they let them return them without even looking at them. Just scan the receipt then. The manager came over and took the money out of the door and gave it to him. But me they looked over the shoes with the fine too comb and then refuse to return them because they said the bottoms were dirty. I forgot to mention I called before I came because I live an hour away. I called to make sure that I can return them and I explained that my son wore them one day and they didn't fit him. They were hurting his feet so I called to make sure that I wouldn't get turned away if I drove an hour to return them and they said no problem. If I was Hispanic they wouldn't even have looked at them but since I wasn't it was a problem. What a horrible store. I won't stop until that manager is fired because it's not right to treat people like that.
