We went to the Hampton store to use a Groupon that we had purchased last month and were told when we went to purchase our beer making kit that it wasn't good for that when on the Groupon it specifically states that its not valid for kegging equipment or special order items, not for anything else. When we went to pay we were told it wasn't good for what we had already had him make up & by that time its to late to return it after its poured so I had to pay $52.95 for the kit and the $25 for the Groupon I purchased. He said I would have to call Groupon to see if they would credit me my money back. So I proceded to call the "Main" store in Norfolk spoke to Neil told him the situation & he proceeded to tell me that it stated in the Groupon that it was on the "fine print" & that I should have know what it said. He was very rude & kept interrupting me, I explained to him that we were repeat customers there had spent plenty of money there but he had just lost a customer, he seems to care about as much as if I had told him the sun was out. As the previous 3 reviews have been negative so is this one, as they state above I would love to support local business but I will never be back there again. I would rather order my supplies online & pay for the shipping then step foot in that place again!!! I only rated it 1 star because it wont let you have none!!!!

As seen in the pictures, it was literally floor to ceiling with anything you could imagine. I saw plenty of baseball stuff, but they also had some NASCAR, wrestling, football, and sports illustrated memorabilia as well. I started small this time with the latest single team set of Topps cards for the Braves. I really admire how their collection goes from brand-new to years and years before I was even born. Price range varies, as it does with any hobby shop. You could spend 99 cents up to $600+, it just depends on what you're searching for. I will absolutely be back! Great shop with great people.

1-Star Review I…read morerecently had one of the worst retail experiences I've ever had between two GameStop locations, and I feel compelled to share what happened. I traded in three games and received $10.50 in store credit. I then purchased two games -- one for $34.99 and another for $14.99 -- using my own money. However, I was sold the wrong game for my console. When I went back to the first store, an employee named Shane admitted the mistake and directed me to another GameStop to exchange it. At the second store, things got worse. While trying to do the exchange, I witnessed a strong-arm theft -- someone near me ripped something off the wall and ran out. This was extremely disturbing, and I felt unsafe and shaken. An employee named Jack was on shift, cursing and acting unprofessionally toward customers during the incident. Amid all this chaos, he gave me the $17 difference back for the correct game. Unfortunately, the game I was given was damaged -- it had visible scratches, a watermark, and no insert -- and it wouldn't even work in my console. When I went back again (yes, again), Shane was now at the second store. I tried to return the damaged game and told him how upset and unsafe I felt during the earlier theft incident. Instead of being understanding or helpful, he dismissed my concerns and said he couldn't process my return. Even though this all happened within one day, I was told I'd only get store credit instead of a refund -- even though I originally paid in cash. This whole ordeal involved: * Two different GameStop locations * Three separate trips * A faulty product * Unprofessional employees * And a disturbing in-store theft I've been left with no working game, wasted time and gas, and a lingering feeling of being disregarded and unsafe in your stores. I'm still waiting for a proper refund and a response from corporate. GameStop -- your return policy, customer service, and in-store safety protocols need serious attention.
