I had placed an order yesterday for curbside pick (something new because of quarantine) I came today at 4:20 pm and parked outside, we saw the workers active in the store, we assumed it was open. My calls were not going through so we sat and waited... the workers had made eye contact with us several times leaving us to sit and wonder if it was open or not. With uncertainty we drove away where we noticed 2 other workers staring at us??? My review is regarding Michael's online shopping-pick up at store. This was a very frustrating experience. After untold amount of time and effort, was being charged shipping. So online shopping pick up at store is no better than just shipping right to customer's home. I wanted to order item and have picked up at Michael's in Mankato, MN. Site would not recognize my account, user ID, etc. nor would it let me sign up (in case of snafu). So then I tried to prepay for my order, in the Mankato store, but was told they could not take payments over the phone. Ridiculous in this day and age. I received daily emails from Michael's, so company has my email address. Also wanted me to download the Michael's app on my phone. I do not agree with Michael's privacy policy--providing all my info to other companies and entities, even including number of family members. Have all customers actually read your privacy policy? I should be able to order something without all these requirements. I finally ended up having store hold my item, while I send my sister money to go pay and pick it up. I will tell everyone I know about this horrible experience. read more

The staff here are always so friendly and helpful! They're prices can get a bit spendy but they always have weekly deals and coupons. There is also a Michaels rewards program. I have shopped here for years and will continue to be a loyal customer. Very clean and well organized store! read more
