I have no reason not to give Michael's 5 stars. I don't shop there often. If at all, really. I'm not a huge crafty person and if I'm looking for decorations, art supplies, and/or frames, Walmart typically has what I need, or Target. I used to scrapbook back in high school and I shop Michael's for supplies, but once Hobby Lobby opened I moved to that store. They just seem to have so much more stuff. Went the other day (Today is 12/13/19.) to buy a gift card for my sister-in-law. She shops Michael's all the time. I was in and out within 5 minutes and I even found a pack of really cute mini boxes to 'wrap' the gift card in. Pack had 2 boxes so I 'wrapped' a gift card for my husband to a restaurant he likes instead of just throwing the card in his stocking. Store was clean, uncluttered, and aisles were labeled. The cashier I had was really nice as well. I keep meaning to fill out the survey for her. I'll happily go back if I need to. Did not use restrooms. I assume there are ones open to the public. Parking lot is very close, but handicap stalls aren't. Which seems odd to me. read more

We have been assisted twice by Braden. He has out-of-the-park customer service skills at a store that can be frustrating with its reliance on coupons. He could lead customer service seminars, he is so good. I hope he enters a profession where he can use these skills. read more

The store is pretty great. No, they aren't huge like Hobby Lobby so naturally they wont have the selection but the employees at the Sioux City location are FAR more friendly that the majority of Hobby Lobbys employees. They have good coupons to use too. I always go here first then over to HL if I cant find what im looking for. read more

Very poor customer service!!!! I called the store to inquire as to whether they had an item in the store that was listed on the website. I did not want to drive 20 miles and find out that it was unavailable. After I gave the manager the item and the item number I was told they had many "Recollection" items and to come in and take a look. After I explained that I didn't want to drive a total of 40 miles if it was unavailable, requesting several times if she could please look, I became frustrated and told her to "forget It". I was pleasant and not demanding in my request. This is not the only time I have experienced poor service and wonder why I even go back? In the past, I always (and I mean ALWAYS) have to track down someone to help me. Recently, when I was looking for a trifold, the clerk pointed and told me "it's over there someplace". By the way, in the last month I have given them a considerable amount of my business so I'm not using one incident to voice my displeasure. This is why I shop Sioux Falls and Omaha. Customer service, clean environment, professionalism, and valuing the customer exists at these locations. This was it for me, I do not plan to return!!! I do not recommend this Michaels to anyone!!!!! I will also continue shopping at Hobby Lobby who has alway been courteous, friendly and willing to help me. read more
