Owner…read morespent the entire time on the phone bitching and moaning about how he isn't getting product but also said if customers want to go to their competitors then he dose not want them. I was looking for a couple mtg decks that have been out of print for a bit and when he finally got off the phone he made me feel stupid for even asking. Yet his store was full of vintage and older games and bragged about being the oldest game store in Idaho. Then when I asked about an alternative cover for a dnd book he just told me to look at the shelves, I wouldn't be asking the god damn owner if I didn't already look. The black widow I saw crawling around made me feel more welcome than he did. Was going to ask about some mtg singles too but the display case was covered in shit and didn't want to spend any more time then I needed to in that store. I never leave reviews but I felt inclined after I came from a store around the corner and the difference was night and day

The SMELL in there is amazing (and not in a good way). I understand some types of gamers have different hygiene standards than the rest of us, but this was beyond BO. It was more like urine. Gross. Aside from the smell, there are a few old banquet tables for game play and quite a bit of dated merchandise. We travel through/past Twin Falls all the time and would have been delighted to make this a regular stop on our itineraries, but we won't be stopping back.

I was blown away by the staff in the picture framing section. The first item was my brothers military retirement citation. It was in rough shape and was bent and torn around the edges. The employee helped me find the perfect frame and mat showing me how it could be framed in a way that the torn edges would be covered up. They treated this citation as if it were their beloved art. I was thrilled with the results and felt that the employee understood how important this project was to me. Several months later, I discovered two vintage fruit crate labels in an envelope in my mom's garage. There was a spot on her kitchen wall that needed some art and I took them to Hobby Lobby. A different lady employee took them and found a mat color that worked for both of them. They turned out fantastic and I loved seeing them when I visited my mom. Most recently, some 6 months later, I took my parent's wedding picture to be matted and put in a larger frame. The lady remembered my previous project and I showed her my idea for a mat color. She respectfully asked if we could try a different color, and I am so happy she did. The mat color she suggested makes the colors (which looked very muted with all the frames they were previously in and the mat I had chosen) pop out and look more colorful! It's truly amazing the eye that she has for the best mat color for the items I've brought in. I am so pleased with Hobby Lobby's framing department and will continue to go to them for my future projects.

UltraPro has "knocked off" Gravity Dice! Never buying from UltraPro again. Anyway, I immediately, as in less than 5 minutes after placing an online order, requested a cancellation. This was through Walmart.com. Got an automated response that I would hear back within 24 hours. I heard back...got a message they shipped the order!! I found their website, and sent them a message, saying that these were knockoffs and not what I was looking for, and this is the response I got: "We don't sell fake items or "knock offs". The item you purchased in authentic and new. The only problem with the dice is a dispute with two companies over the name of the product while the order was shipped before the email was read." Sooo, they can process my order, but not be bothered to read an immediately sent email? And a "dispute over the name" is just another way of saying UltraPro is trying to cash in by selling an inferior product with the same name. I'm about to call my bank to trigger a chargeback, and am really pissed that I had to spend my precious time writing this review, especially since there are several that sound almost identical.

So when I found myself in a kitchen supply store, I was out of my element. But my mom loves to cook, and I love my mom (especially when she cooks for me!) so I went along willingly. I was innocently browsing around when I stumbled on a doorway to that led me to another section that was much more my speed-the wine store. On that side, I discovered bottles of wine along with a friendly sommelier, Cesar, who was both knowledgable and friendly. He offered a taste test of a few wines, which led me to purchasing a bottle that I might not have otherwise stumbled upon. There was also a wall full of different coffee beans and a grinder so you could prepare your beans just the way you like them. There was also a wall full of different types of oils and vinegars. A lovely young lady assisted us in testing those, too. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. I saw that they do cooking classes and, for a brief moment, pictured myself wearing an apron learning from these fine folks how to make something exquisite. Who knows? maybe my dream will turn into a nightmare.

I love to cook and I enjoy gadgets and fun trinkets for the kitchen. The amount of stuff they had was overwhelming but in an amazing way. They were so organized and had everything you can possibly need for your kitchen. Love that they had everything in sections and some of the prices were a bit high but you know they will last for sure and I don't mind that. They had a small section for sale and they had some fun stuff that's prolly out of season and picked up a few. They have cooking classes & wine tasting as well to pair with food as well. You can actually reserve or just a party and that's super neat. They have e a fresh local cheese section you can purchase as well as an olive oil tasting section with bread as well. Loved that touch. They have local beers that's what we were there for and picked up a few other items as well and you can make your own 4 pack or 6 pack of local beers to take home. Honestly a super neat store. Too bad we were visiting but def one to check out for sure. Staff was very nice and answered some questions I had about the cooking classes. Thank!
