I had a very concerning experience at the Michaels in Vero Beach (6140 20th Street) on May 1, 2026. Several items I selected were clearly marked at lower prices on the shelves, but rang up significantly higher at checkout. On just a few items I noticed, the difference was about $21 before any discounts were applied. When I brought this to the cashier's attention, I was told to enter my phone number for a discount rather than having the pricing corrected. After reviewing my receipt, I realized that even with discounts applied, I still paid more than the shelf prices. I then spoke with the manager and offered to show her the incorrect shelf pricing. She declined and stated she was already aware the prices were wrong because they "change all the time" and the store does not have enough staff to update them. She also said correcting the transaction would cause me to lose my coupons. Customer service later offered a $10 coupon, which does not address the issue. This is concerning because customers who do not carefully review their receipts may be unknowingly overcharged. I recommend checking your receipt closely if you shop here. read more

I had a disappointing experience with Michaels curbside pickupbtoday. I placed an online order yesterday using a 30% off coupon, but several items I wanted were marked as "not available," so I planned to go inside afterward to find alternatives. When I went into the store, I found those exact same items fully stocked on the shelves. That means I ended up paying more in-store for items that were supposedly unavailable online, instead of getting the discount I initially intended to use. This feels misleading and honestly a bit unfair. If items are in stock, the system should reflect that accurately--especially when customers are relying on online orders and coupons to save money. I hope this is something that gets fixed, because it definitely affected my overall experience. read more

Two "t's" and a "y" is how Brittany spelled her name at the Michael's in Vero Beach, when asked. In need of several picture frames and certificate display cases, I found myself checking out numerous sale items at Michael's. Brittany was helpful in directing me to numerous BOGO free frames and cases. She even suggested several frames that were buy one - get two free. Ending up with ten frames - in various sizes - and two display cases, I found Brittany to be helpful and polite. Clean store and plenty of parking. Great shopping experience. William E. Sad that customer service and lack of product will result in online purchases. I went looking for a specific item. I found the store very disorganized, it was set up very poorly with very little room to move throughout the aisles. there were multiple pallets placed in the walkways. Also, carts strewn through the store with what looked like strays that were not being worked on to be put away. I saw three employees working. I searched for my item and could not find it. I saw an employee standing at an end aisle on his phone. I asked him if he worked here and he said "yea sorta" I asked about the item and he said " I don't really know cause I'm new" going back to his phone. Being from a retail manager career, I was already not liking the looks of the store, but now, this interaction with this employee has made it even worse. I said "If you would walk around and get familiar with the store instead of playing on your phone you would be able to help customers find what they are looking for" and he said "whatever B...." I was shocked, went to leave store and saw the cashier and another employee at the front working out of a cart. I asked her for the item and she pointed towards the back and said maybe back there. Well, another really helpful employee, I told her my conversation with the other male employee she just smiled, which gave me the impression they were buddies who would have a chuckle together later at my expense. Shame on the bad training, lack of knowledge, absolute disarray of the entire store. I don't blame the employees, it is management, district management, and whoever is in charge of running an efficient, organized establishment. Needless to say, I will never shop Michaels again. Hopefully this will entice someone to look into this location to improve the overall quality of shopping in stores before everyone goes to online only shopping. read more

Was in the mood to start a few projects! So, watch out Michaels...here I come! Hadn't painted in yrs...and that was in oil. Wanted to try Acrylic painting, & the girl there was very helpful with everything I needed. Also, got some wiring to wrap a stone ( Lapis ) for a pendant. Got some wire bending & cutter all in one piece, will see how that works! THEN...I love hats, saw one on FB....that had some dried wheat around the brim, and fell in love...couldn't find it anywhere...so got the same wheat I'd seen on the picture, along with a hot glue gun...and already have the black floppy hat...so again, will see how that turns out! They have pretty much everything I could think of, for art DIY projects...and extremely helpful with everything you need. read more

Was looking for one certain item. Walked the ENTIRE store, every aisle, twice- did not see one employee except the one at the register. This was on a weekday afternoon. Asked her where item was located and she gave me a vague point to the back corner and said to look back there? From now on I'll just order on Amazon. read more
