When I stopped in the shop was kitted out for Christmas shoppers with gift baskets, gluten free puddings and heaped baskets of brightly coloured beans, jellies and lolly pops. Too loaded down from the day's shop to contemplate carrying home anything more, I skipped the all natural biscuit selections and dried fruit medleys, knowing I'd be back in the new year (after all, if it's sugar free my resolution stays intact!).

As well as bagels, they offer, coffee, panini's, wraps, subs and sambo's. This branch only does take away as the shop is tiny. At €5.50 the bagels are a little expensive if you ask me but tasty and filling none the less. The cajun, classic club and chicken Caesar are all good. Although its just not the same as a breakfast roll, a breakfast bagel is available and as they open at half 7 so your drinking on a school night night just be worth it after all.

they're *literally* across the [i hesitate to call it a] road from my house and i never go there. i…read moreknow this isn't the best way to start off a review, but bear with me. it's mostly that fundamentally i'm the laziest person on the planet when it comes to leaving my house to eat during the middle of the day. plus, thanks to the brainwashing provided by my naturopathy college, i've been led to believe sandwiches (nay, bread) are evil. so i don't go there often. but the couple of times i *have* ventured the 25 feet from my front door, i haven't been disappointed. also this morning i discovered that they do breakfast on weekdays! this is like the most exciting news i've had all week (but well, it's only wednesday) because now i can just go over there for my fried stuff in the morning :) hehe. i can't drink coffee cuz it hates me (in soviet russia, coffee drink you) so i have to stick to tea which makes coffee shop type places far less appealing to me. but i am very happy they serve food and i know i will be going over there a lot more often (in my pjyamas or bathrobe) to get breakfast now that i know they have it. and it's good.

They occasionally have very odd food stuff on offer - around December last year they were advertising their new Christmas roll, which was basically a white bread roll with ham, turkey and all the trimmings! Another time they were selling pre-packed strawberries and cream at an exorbitant price. The same man is always behind the counter and he is a tad strange as well. I was in there one morning with my brother and he asked me if he was my father. My brother is less than two years older than me so this was a very peculiar question and not one that went down well with my brother!
