My wife, my sister and my brother in-law have been addressing it in a more proactive and learning about diabetes and how to make small alterations to your lifestyle to improve your glucose response. I have been going down this path with an open mind, and I want to be able to control things and not have drugs control it for me. I heard a lot of good things from my brother in-law about Dr. Voves and the Meadows Health and Wellness clinic and the things she does with her patients in being proactive, empathetic and responsive to your needs. I want to get myself in a better place of health, it is not terrible, but why wait until things are bad. I felt she listened to me well and we are talking a few other items also that will improve my overall health. We could talk and discuss things vs most Dr's just tell you what they want to tell you and off to the next patient. I really feel I found a Dr that will work with me, have an open mind and help me reach that next level of controlling my health and being proactive about it. Her office team Paige and Colleen are fantastic and complement the office very well with great attitudes, not rushing you and make you also feel warm and invited. I am just starting my journey with them, and my gut tells me that this is the right path! If you are looking for something nonmainstream then this is a great place to start and check out.

But…read morehaving worked with Adrienne for almost a year now, I can say with the utmost certainty that my life has transformed in the best of ways since starting our professional relationship. Regardless of the quandaries I throw her way on any given call, Adrienne consistently exercises the patience, honesty, and compassion I need to make sense of my world. What's more, Adrienne makes it a mission to help her clients institute change in their own lives; her approach to our work together has given me the tools I need to shift my outlook and tackle problems, both big and small. What kind of world do we live in where mental health so called professionals won't even see people…read morein person. I have seen NW Mind And Body for a few months. They released one of their ppl and took over 30 days to see someone else. Now they say do to Covid they won't see people in person. It is obvious this profession acts like they care about people but they really don't. Let me ask the people in this profession: how does not seeing someone in person help the person. Half the issues today is because you can't socialize and talk to ppl like we used to. It's created so many mental health issues and you are telling ppl that you are going to compound the issue by not seeing ppl in person? Really?? I thought you were educated??? You are hypocrites, you are worried about someone being in the office that needs mental help: do you go to your own doctor, go grocery shopping, visit with friends or family in a closed area, sit in a movie theater, go shopping, see a sporting event, you allow your kids go to a classroom, your kids play sports that is physical or in a closed gym, go watch your kids play a sport... I would say you all do something that involves being inside for an extended amount of time. 10,000 people can pile into the Moda center but you can't be in person to help ppl with mental issues?? You can't meet in person with ppl that are mentally needing it???? Are you kidding me?? A lot of insurance doesn't cover virtual appointments in your profession. But you know that and don't care. How do you look at yourself in the mirror? Just like the world we live in, it's only important if it directly effects you. Disgusting how you call yourself mental health professionals!!!!
