He was very thorough in his intake protocol. He patiently and graciously took lots of time to make sure I understood where I stand and what would be needed to help me come to an informed decision, and answered my questions. (I had lots of questions!) Dr. Kahn is able to practice medicine with the focus on the patient's welfare, not some institutional medical conglomerate's or insurance executive's formulas, quotas, or profit margins. The clinic staff was also very patient, friendly and helpful. Lisa made the whole mad-dash to get started and get the massive number of test results, reports, and medical history, much less stressful (with a sprinkle of humor added.) Dr. Kahn instilled a sense of confidence in both his knowledge and skill, and in providing a science based approach to determining the best course of action for me. He also restored my sense of hopefulness for a best possible journey and outcome.

If you are educated with basic knowledge of AI, you are far better and equipped than wasting your time and money visiting this place. I have done lot of study and research and wanted to see if I can get any better insights on the blood tests and CT Calcium Score, Carotid test results that I have got them done on my own. My goodness, my in and out was exactly 60 minutes, it included my first time check in, id, insurance etc then a bit of wait to see another lady who took my BP and EC, then wait time and then Dr. Kahn. For an $800 consultation, I expected much but to my utter disappointment, he asked me very basic questions and was pushing me to get some blood tests done at his facility m. He spent 15 minutes just to market about Quest Diagnostics $400 package or use my own insurance. He wanted me to give a reply instantly, he was frustrated when I asked him for time. Ridiculous that he was more focused on that rather than adding value to the $800 charges. He mentioned many people come for consultation and never come back, no wonder why they don't come back. Approximately I was before him 30 minutes and he was counting minutes. Are you serious? I would post my review everywhere possible the way he ridiculed the time. The EC copy given was also funny, some other name was there it was handwritten by striking off the name and date and time also was over written by hand. Save your time and money by avoiding him. What a crap. I gained ZERO by going there.

I was seen by multiple doctors on my first day and had an incredibly large (almost too large - it was impossible to remember names) care team. Not a single person was unpleasant or difficult to work with. Truly an excellent team all around. The facilities, on the other hand, were a bit lacking. Sure, I'm not expecting a 5 star hotel, but the bathroom in my room was a little grimy and they definitely could have made the common areas more enjoyable (eg more communal seating around a TV, some games or books out for entertainment, etc). There was truly nothing to do during down time besides lay in bed and stare at the ceiling. It's a shame because they even have a little free library downstairs in the main wing of the building where they could take/trade books if needed. Of the (unfortunately many) psychiatric wards I've been in, this was by far the worst in terms of opportunities to entertain yourself in between groups. The groups, however, I found were nicely varied. For example, we had pet therapy one day, an exercise group another, a relaxation group, and so forth. It definitely cut out some of the monotony I've experienced elsewhere when every group is some BS about coping skills or CBT/DTB. One major plus I found was that the food was good, exceptional by hospital standards, and you could order your own meals from a fairly expansive menu. Overall a pleasant enough experience, relatively speaking. They should be impressed with their employees in particular.
