The office will bill you for things that they should not when you have insurance, they neglect to take copays when you are seen and then send you a bill with a late fee attached. Nathalie was very professional and genuine in her care for me. Dr. Sharma ordered an array of tests and bloodwork and assured me I was going to be fine. Sure enough, she was right! Sitting in the waiting room I, and 5 other people…read morehear as well, about some poor guy named Pete (last name was spoke loud enough for all of us to hear), the procedure he had, and that he is calling in for more Vicodin. Yikes! This place is for cosmetic surgery, you think they would be more discreet. I took my 80 yr old mother here to get her bottom eyelid fixed - it is folding in on itself and scratching her cornea, and her eye is constantly agitated and weepy. Blepharoplasty is the procedure, but don't worry, everyone in the waiting room heard what she was getting. So my mother went to check in, sign papers, and get an overview of the procedure. I was holding her walker and purse and went to go back with her, but nurser Ratchet stopped me and took her purse and shut the door on my face. Well Nurse Ratchet, good thing you don't speak w/ any privacy in mind, because I just stood on the other side of the door and heard everything,. Next, my 80 yr old mother, did I mention she is 80? We came in with a walker, and I asked if they had a wheel chair to get her out to the car after surgery, since we were on the 3rd floor, and even though parked in Handicap, it was a good distance away. Well, Nurse Ratchet said "Yes we have a hair, but we'll see if she'll need it on the way out" Yes, she'll need it, she needed a walker on the way in because she has a broken foot. I have to say the Nurses in Pre-OP really saved the rating for this place, they were very friendly and helpful. Easing my mother's anxiety and going thru the post-OP care very carefully. They even offered to wheel my mother down to the car, and sent me 5 minutes first so I could get it semi-warmed up in the 5 degree weather. The next day, the surgical nurses called on my mom to see how she was doing, and the Dr. sent her flowers. Now that's customer service. This place would've gotten more stars if it wasn't for the horrible service we recerived when we frist got there. They need to realize that the person sitting at the front desk is your first, and real, opportunity to make a great first impression,

I recently had a episode were I felt like I was going to faint at work. A co worker suggested I go see him because I might have diabetes. At the time I was 26 and 376lbs. I was living a very unhealthy life. When Amos Johnson did some test he came back and said I was boarder line diabetic. Which is not even a medical term by the way. This should have been my first red flag about this clown. But I was young and ignorant to medical terms. So instead of suggesting I need to change my life style and exercise and eat better he decides to subscribe me a new drug called Invokana. So after taking this for a week or so I started feeling really bad having pains in my side and stomach area. Seen him again and then he decided to put me on blood thinners. Why? I have no idea but what do I know? I'm not a doctor. So after a couple more weeks I'm having thoughts of suicide and my blood sugar was dropping dangerously low. Multiple times a day. So I went to go see another doctor he did my ac1 test and it was slightly off. But I told him my family history didn't have diabetes in it. He suggested I stop taking all medications immediately and still keep exercising and eating right. Come to find out the invokana was dropping my blood sugar level dangerously low multiple times a day because I wasn't diabetic. My new doctor had no idea why Amos Johnson would subscribe that to me. Well later on I figured out Doctors get paid to subscribe new medications by the company who makes them. So he didn't care what that medication would do to someone who wasn't diabetic but rather his own pockets. Then a couple years down the lone I see Invokana on tv with one of those call us because this company who makes it is getting sued. I couldn't believe a doctor who swore a oath would literally committed attempted murder for money in his pocket. He also likes to belittle his wife which is a nurse there in front of patients. I would not be surprised if he hits her at home she has that domestic abuse vibe about her. Always looking down at the ground doesn't make eye contact with him. Basically all the signs. But I can't confirm that because I never seen him physically abuse her rather just verbally abuse her. Nobody should ever go to this GUY and his license should be taken away.
