We had already purchased a tire and tried 4-5 other shops around town and no one could put the tire on. Happened to call up here and they told us if we came right now they could get it on immediately. They got the tire on quickly and got us back on the road. They even let some of our girls sit in their air conditioned office, got us in front of some fans because of the heat and let us use there business and personal restrooms. They went out of their way to chat with us and make this situation a lot easier!

In the time I have been taking our rides to them have done everything to specifications using proper torques and not the good and tight method. I have never felt like I wasted money when I have them work on my rides. They have always been keen on the idea of saving the clients money if they can. I tried to find a cheaper part for my car but his prices were dead on to what I could have paid. The only downside was paying a diagnostic fee that wasn't added into the repair. I do have someone locally (Dunn, NC) that I use and he includes the fee into the service. Not sure how most other mechanics do their fees. Overall he finished the work within 2 hours and I was back on the road. He was polite and a pleasure to deal with. He didn't try to break our pockets either. I would definitely recommend him and his company to anyone.

He then said "$85.60". So I spoke with my wife and we decided to pay for the diagnostic and do the repairs my self. The next day my wife went to pay and pick up the truck while I was at work, they charged her $107 to pick up the truck and pay for the diagnostic, their reasoning is that they " need to charge more because they are not doing the repair" and he said "we are not in business to tell people how to fix their truck" WHAT? I am paying you to find out the problem and now you want to charge me more because I don't have an extra $2300 just lying around? I paid for their services and now they want to add more money for LITTERALY nothing, I will never go back to this business and I will tell as many people as possible to steer clear. Nothing but a bunch of scum bags there.

They are literally the worst auto repair shop I've ever gone to. They charge you for crap that you don't need instead of fixing the ACTUAL problem, and they upcharge. Their labor rate is crazy. I spent almost a $1000 and THEY MESSED my car up and wanted almost $800 more, on a freaking 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. I should've know better after years of being in Jacksonville, and even as a young Marine, I remember my SNCO's specifically banning Leatherneck from patronizing. They are disgusting.
