They painted our finished basement, family room, a bathroom, and multiple bedrooms, and hallways. Merit actually didn't hand me the lowest estimate for the combined painting/handiwork job. It was the second lowest, but it was the most affordable one from someone that I actually trusted upon getting the estimate. John and his crew came highly recommended from trusted coworkers, which made me comfortable not only with his work but with giving him unfettered access to my home when I was away. They spent about a week in our house with a team of two. We only missed the estimated budget due to additional work we discovered along the way, which I was happy to have them there to do. Even after they left we kept discovering a few more things we forgot about, so a return trip already seems likely even though they just finished. Workmanship quality is good. Repairs to the wooden structure of my porch are solid. Interior and exterior painting were both expertly done with extra care taken with priming and bases as necessary, with one orange to red bathroom requiring an extraordinary number of coats and special attention. They were unphased. Recommended. I would hire them for painting or small repairs in the future.
