The wait times at the health center are minimal. My primary doctor (Dr. Quinn) is always a pleasure to speak with and she pays close attention to my concerns. The Spectrum MyChart Portal is easy to use and communications are prompt and understandable. He gave me a brief exam and knew i needed surgery. We got it scheduled and two weeks later it was done. He did perineal plasty, scar revision, and muscle tuck. After a thorough assessment, she made weekly focuses on my areas of need but we worked thru each one, slowly and carefully making sure I was progressing and understanding self care. I am able to say I am walking away with a wealth of knowledge about my body and I know she gave me "toolkit" of moves to help me strengthen and recover my body from here on out. It's unfortunate new moms arent referred immediately to pelvic floor PT but I was so glad I took the steps to get to GR OBGYN. From the front desk to consistent support from Lily, the staff provides a safe, comforting and welcoming space for women. Not to mention the emotional support from Dr. Dawson, she was the person I didn't realize I needed - I'm forever grateful for our sessions. I never felt rushed and he always asked if I had any questions for him. Very nice guy and always had a great attitude, even when he was clearly having a busy day. He was very respectful and easy-going about my preferences for childbirth and I certainly plan to return to him if I have another pregnancy. All the staff I interacted with in this office were always very kind & helpful. I saw Dr. Kaczkofsky for a visit when my doctor wasn't available and was happy with him too.

I was only 18 mind you, your not suppose to get it done until 21 but Dr. Odell said that i could get it done anyway. when i went in for my procedure she ended up saying everything was fine. she had a little trouble getting one of them in, (I was awake for this whole procedure) Ever since I got this Essure procedure done i have had nothing but problems! I found out just recently by my other OB Dr. that Dr. Odell put 2 Essure Coils in my fallopian tube on the right side, and one coil on my left side! Ever since then i have had pelvic pain, increased vaginal bleeding, and regret about not being able to have another child :( i am 21 now and asked Dr Odell to refund my procedure by taking them out and stitching back the fallopian tubes or at least paying for my procedure to get done by another dr. She tried to set me up with an appointment which i refused! because she just stated to her nurse that I came in for a second time even though it is in none of my charts that says i came back to get another one in! I am appalled Anything she can do to make money even if its messes lives up! I wish something could be done! This Essure procedure is nothing but problems! You can look it up Type it into Google or something and see for yourself!

Dr. Bowes was my original provider here and he is great, but a little quick and often out delivering babies. I recently switched to Jamie, a PA at this office, and she's amazing. She provides great care, listens to all of my concerns and questions, and is open, warm, and nonjudgmental. I highly recommend Jamie and hope she sticks around at Grand Rapids Women's Health for a long time so I can continue to have her as my provider. I've never had any issues with billing, appointments, or anything else. Plus they have a parking lot that they validate, and it's close to my house. Definitely will continue to seek care here as long as I can!

Also, I agreed to schedule at the Grand Ledge (even though I live in Lansing) office to get this 'earlier appointment'. The day of the appointment came and I hit traffic and arrived exactly 7 minutes late. They told me Dr. Kiley left already because I was late. I was absolutely shocked. First, what doctor is out the door in 7 minutes? Yes, I was a few minutes late but she must have left 1 or 2 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. Second, what doctor cancels on a patient twice? She does not seem to care about patients if this is how she treats them. I am a reasonable person but this is the worst healthcare customer service experience I've ever received.
