Mid State has been my go to pool supplier for over 15 years. They have always been there whether in times of emergency, or just for the random pool supplies. Though now, times have changed, as well as their customer service. For years I have been coming to this location, and have purchased jugs of liquid chlorine. Like others, they have always required that a deposit be made for each jug ensuring that they be brought back. In return, for every two jugs returned, you take one out full of chlorine. Though, now they are saying that, "Griffin", a long term ex-employee of theirs, is no longer employed and that it was only something that was honored by him. Interesting point, even though the receipt always displayed the company logo, not his name. Now they are failing to honor their deposit, so I am stuck with 10 containers that they said that I can "give back." Only they will NOT return my deposit money for the jugs. Here's my question for you mid-state...You employ someone for over 15 years, but you have no knowledge base of how they are running your company? Really? You say that only he honored this policy, and that he was let go for this particular issue, which of course you NEVER caught until 15 year later? Yeah, Okay if you say so. In truth, the economy is bad, therefore you see it as bad for business to meet your obligations. Apparently ripping off loyal customers is better for business. Mid State recently did work for us and did a great job. They built our pool 10 years ago and some repairs to the stone and tile needed to be done. The workers were here when they said they would be and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend. Very easy to work with! read more
