I had some requirements to complete on my Mustang and they were able to get in touch with my warranty company, helping me reduce the amount I personally had to pay. I brought my f-150 in for a brake inspection since I was getting some squealing when I first started braking after initial start up. It would go away after that. The woman at the counter advised they would let me know when the inspection was finished. An hour or so later, I got the estimate which listed the following items. - Rear brakes need replacing - Battery needs replacing - Brakes fluid needs to be flushed and replaced - Rear differential service At that point I didn't have much trust in this Midas location and asked for the truck back. She then asked what is stopping me from having the work done (dirty looks and attitude included). I explained that the battery is less than a year old (Autozone Gold battery), the brake flush was done 2 weeks before I brought it in, the rear differential was serviced around 15-20,000 miles before. Midas included a picture of the battery tester with "Replace" shown on the screen (picture attached) She replied "well we don't know your service history and we just make the recommendations". First off, if you don't know your customers service history, ask and save you and your customers some time. If the tech looked at the color of the fluid or performed a simple test of the fluid, they would have seen it was new. After getting my truck back, I booked an appointment for a transmission recall and also went to another brake shop and no surprise, they both indicated that no work needed to be done. The first was a local ford dealer (excellent service) and the second was another brake shop (Miller's). Ford indicated no issues with the battery or brakes during inspection (picture attached) To quote, "The brakes have around 10,000-15,000 miles left on them at least" I brought the battery to Autozone to have it tested and it passed with no issues. First I call and the dumb lady behind the counter hangs up on me. I call again and she was just such a bitch to me and lied about hanging up from me! She's the one with the Ole Miss sweatshirt on. I took my truck there prior and they didn't fix the leak and still haven't fixed it! I had to take my truck to Quick Lane. Body shops should never hire females especially that one! I wouldn't suggest this place to my worst enemy! They did nothing to my truck and still charged us $66 dollars. I wish I could give no stars because one is too generous! You can't fix stupid! These people can't fix anything! All I was asking was an update on my truck and the girl wearing the Ole Miss sweatshirt was just a bitch to me! She was like "you saw all those cars outside didn't you" I said yeah and then she said "well it's first come first serve" that's not at all what I was asking about! Seriously fuck this place I hope it ends up shutting down. Apparently they didn't show their employee how to correctly deal with customers!!! Been using them for last few years since I move back south. Mostly oil changes and battery. Take my car in today, told them why I think check engine light was on. I specifically said do not change spark plugs until your for sure that issue. Go back to pick it up when they said it ready. Paid get in my car check engine light still on. Ask rude woman working customer service who definitely needs to find different job. She worse customer service I've experienced in while. Tell me I wasn't one you talk to. She was sitting there when I check in, even laugh at few of my comments when checking in. Totally aware what I said. All she tells me is you need to talk to Mr Jackson. Walk out ask mechanic did u not check for light, before he could even answer me rude woman runs outside tells him not to talk to me! I will not be going back. Mechanic he was nice, why would someone who told me they test drove it, not even investigate check engine light when they see it on. Worse service all around! Look for different auto repair place! Call, told they just got 200 tires delivered day before. They have my size. 930am: car drop off Ask about ETA, aprx 1h30min 1100am: get call, they have to go get my tires. Will take several hours more than expected. 325pm: call for update. They are finishing up as we speak. 345pm: arrive, car on rack in stall. Problem with alignment machine. 400pm: car leaves stall for test run. 430pm: paid and leaving with car. Was quoted one price over the phone and when arrived in person the total was $100 more because of taxes and fees. My fault for assuming the quoted price included taxes and fees. This is only my review based on facts and nothing else. Maybe this was just a series of unfortunate events, but 7hr tire replacement. read more

Really just unorganized. I didn't have problems with this location before, but the last 2 times I've been here-- I've left unhappy. I usually come here to get an oil change especially because they offer a military discount-- but the wait is not worth the extra few dollars you save. Normally it wouldn't take but maybe 20 minutes of waiting, but last time I waited for an hour and 15 minutes. The person on the phone had told me to come on in and that it wouldn't be a long wait prior, which is why I went. Then this week I called and made an appointment to get my car serviced. When I went in, person said he didn't see me on schedule, the girl next to him informed him he wrote my appointment down on a napkin, but that it never made it into the system. Low and behold I saw the brown lunch napkin with my name on it sitting there from when I had called the day before. Then he proceeded to tell me not to worry and that they'd get me in, but it would be about 15 minutes before they could start. Come one now people... The whole point of me making an appointment was so ideally I could get in and out because I only have a one hour lunch break-- which I took early to get my car serviced. Also-- they usually don't heckle me about getting random things fixed, which is nice. I probably would've given them 2 stars, but by them being nice I give them 3. Suuuper nice people-- I just don't think the establishment is well organized. If you're in a hurry-- maybe try the 5 minute oil change place across the street. read more

Will not be going back. For my wife's last oil change they ripped the heat shield down and we noticed it half way to Atlanta as you could hear it dragging on the road (zip tied it up as a quick fix). Just yesterday, we brought her vehicle in for an oil change. The entire heat shield is almost ripped off at this point and the did not secure it (if this ripped off while she was driving and hit someone we would have a serious problem). She had scheduled an appointment days out and it took an hour and a half. During their "multi-point check" they only checked some of the things on their checklist. The woman at the desk told my wife she needed a new cabin air filter and air filter. I changed the cabin air filter 13 April of this year (15 days ago). I highly doubt this needed to be changed. Lastly, they told my wife her engine was leaking oil and she needed to replace a seal. She told them no it was not and she needed to go to work. They said it will only take 15 minutes to check. A half an hour later, nothing was wrong. The new management here is terrible. Will no longer recommend others to this place and will not be going myself. read more

They don't even deserve a one star. I bought 2 tires from them in March. Today one of the tires had low pressure and I noticed a knot on the side, so I called them and was told a manager needed to call me back. 2 hours later I called back and he told me to bring it in for him to look at after his inspection he told me that I had hit a curb and pinched the tire so I would have to purchase a new one. I did NOT hit a curb. When my mother called to ask questions he(The Manager) was very rude to her and told her to go buy a new tire somewhere else! He then told me to leave their property. I took my 2020 Jeep Wrangler into the Midas shop to see if they could service it for me. It was my first service on it, but the Jeeps second service 20,000 miles. Henry Gunter at the front desk made sure that the service was done to his and my satisfaction. The mechanic was knowledgable and kind. The work was performed on time as to my appointment time and done quickly and accurately. I was, also, surprised at the value for the service received. Very affordable. I especially appreciated that Henry was overseeing the work and the service. I was very pleased. read more

Midas charged me $192 to "fix" an engine coolant leak! A few days later, my wife and family were stranded on the side of the road at night when the vehicle overheated from leaking out all the engine coolant!!! read more
