Deciding on what to get family members for Christmas was very difficult. I couldn't come up with a "special" gift. Last minute idea, was a family photo of all of us. It's hard getting us all together but we were having a gathering right before Christmas since not all of us could be together during the holiday. I had the pleasure of Charlie Byrd coming to my home to take a picture of my family for the holidays. There were about 25 of us in total and he did one photo that captured us all and was kind enough to stay longer to take individual family photo's. What made the event even more special was that my son came home from the Navy and was able to be in our photo's. Not sure when I will get another opportunity to have a family photo again, which makes this family photo so special. What surprised me the most was that after Charlie left he came back a few hours later with the photo of my entire family and a photo of my immediate family. My family and I needed passport photos taken, and were delighted to find Middletown Photo Studio. Upon arrival, we were greeted outside, had our temperatures taken, and lead inside, where everything had been clearly wiped down, and a HEPA filter was quietly whirling away in the corner, barely noticeable under the calming music playing. We met Charlie and he was incredibly attentive and patient with our little one, leading to some of the nicest photos of our little family we've ever seen. The prices were incredibly reasonable, and I was able to pick the photos up about an hour later. Charlie is an absolute gentleman and clearly has a genuine love for his art. You get individualized attention to exactly what you want out of your session, that's so much better than going to standard photo studio's where everyone's pictures are the same and your rushed and stresed. The staffs are very accommodating, friendly and very patient. He will take a lot of photos and let you choose the best one. They notify customers ahead of time about the price, the background available in the studio and will send you a link of photo backdrops if you want a digital photo.
