Dr Basara and his staff are amazing. He repaired my husband's Achilles tendon, both of my daughter's collapsed arches and treated my heel spars and Achilles tendinitis . The quality of work is impeccable, my husband has zero scars and my daughter just has a minor scar from the first surgery barely noticeable. My husband is a 100% healed he is back to playing sports and my daughter is currently starting her physical therapy but is more mobile now than before the surgeries. AVOID DR. SCOTT BLEAZEY. This doctor had brought me in for 3 x rays during a 6 week injury after breaking my foot. Even though I reported discomfort still the doctor explained to me that it was an accessory bone. Dr. Bleazey then went on to explain that it would be normal to feel pain from time to time. No follow up was needed and if I did come back it would just be x ray after x ray just wasting time and money for the same result. This doctor didn't attempt a bone stimulator and when he saw the bone not healing didn't even recommend surgery. Doctor Bleazey sent me on my way thinking that this was normal and something I'd just have to deal with. Almost a full year down the line my pain comes back twice as bad. I go get a second opinion and that's when I learned about options of a bone stimulator, a boot for more than 6 weeks, being sent for an mri, and even physical therapy, and to get custom orthotics. The new doctor explained that because it has been left untreated for so long and never healed properly in the first place I now have no option but to avoid surgery Scott Bleazey talked to me as if I was faking my problem, almost as if no one in that office either believed me or even cared enough because I was going through workmans comp. If you don't know why something won't heal, your patient still reports pain and discomfort, and you're a doctor, then just refer out. I am a dog groomer and deal with aggressive dogs that want to rip my face off. If I can be in the same room and refer them out a doctor can refer out someone with a broken foot. Just seems immature, lazy, and an irresponsible way to run your practice. Care more about your patients not your paycheck So all in all, avoid this place unless you have a good attorney read more

I have been to the practice many times and have never been upset, I have always paid my bills with no questions asked. I do find it highway robbery that you guys are charging $283.50 for a boot (for my broken foot) that I could buy on Amazon from $35-$50, that's a 600% markup. I never thought I had to ask how much something was in the office, because I trusted your practice. I have recommended your services to many people. I am truly saddened by the loss of trust I feel. I understand that this is a business, but to mark up an item that was medically necessary for a patient that much seems unconscionable. read more

Will give this place 2 stars only because Dr. Gordon has wonderful bedside manner and is caring. From the 4 doctors we saw here, he is the only one we really liked. Trying to speak to anyone on the phone is nearly impossible so we stopped going there. For every 12 phone calls, they'd answer one. read more

Every single appointment I sit for an hour after my scheduled time until I see the dr . I came here bc it's closer to my house . You then get walked to a room and meet a nurse that takes all your information down. After about another 30-40 min a dr comes in and spends about 2-3 min with you and says basically u have have three options surgery, injections, therapy , he then stepped out of the room after telling me to come out of the room in a few min to let them know what my decision is ?? Leaving no explanations of what the risks or benefits are or what would work better in certain situations . The bedside manner , or sheer lack there of, of this dr and his nurse are truly something I've never seen before, I'd rather travel 2 hours To my old dr. Update : I just requested copies of my medical records with them. It clearly states exams that were supposedly performed by the dr that we're NOT actually performed? read more

My rating here is focused on the office staff. I had a surgical procedure scheduled about a month ahead of time, and the DAY before the procedure was told that I would need to meet a $2500 deductible in order to have the surgery. I find it EXTREMELY unprofessional to let a patient know THE DAY BEFORE a procedure that they would need to pay a substantial amount of money to have their treatment performed, especially when there were multiple opportunities for me to find this out in due time. Will not be going back there again, and have learned my lesson to ask for my coverage once I'm told that a particular operation is needed. read more

This is my first visit to this location I usually go to the Bridgewater location. But I have to say this a top notch facility from the check in process to the check out process. I have never been to a facility this huge and have more than enough staff to make the process easy . I had a 9am appt with Dr Salam to get an injection which I have to say went very well. Her assistant was very informative and made it that much easier for the Dr. I was done with my injection my 9:30 and they had me wait a little after to make sure I was ok. I was all checked out with my follow up appt just before 10am. Not bad I have to say. read more

Terrible! Saw 2 ortho Drs there, Dr Pollock & Dr Collalto, for pain in the back of my left knee. Dr Pollack first who had a terrible bedside manner. Very briefly felt around my knee, pushed & pulled it around, said it was swollen & gave me a shot of steroids in the side of my knee! No tests or anything, no pain medication or instruction for home. 3 wks later pain is exactly the same, hasn't lessened, so back to see Dr Collalto who orders MRI, says I probably tore the miniscus. Bearing in mind I am an overweight lady who should exercise but never does & has had no trauma to the knee, I doubt I have a torn minuscus. But went for MRI. Day of MRI I wake up & pain has miraculously gone. Still got MRI, saw Collalto 3 days later. He says MRI is completely clear/normal. I told him probably as the pain went away. His response was "Merry Christmas then!" and started out the door. I said "wait! What would have caused the pain then? What would it have been that it went away so suddenly?" He said I should just be thankful it was gone. Thanks a lot. Well guess what, about a week later I woke up & the exact pain, same place is back. Yeah...... I did NOT go back to MidJersey Orthopedics!!! I went to Princeton Orthopaedic Associates & what a difference. He looked at the MRI Collalto did & showed me where there was a Bakers Cyst on it. Wow, clear as day. Even I could see it, so obvious, and that is with no medical training! Total idiots over at MidJersey, so stay away!!!!! RUN!!!!!! read more

The worst it! I had to call twice and when I finally got thru could not make an appointment! Don't go to these doctors!

In general, the staff is amazing and really take care of you. The receptionists and the nurses were wonderful and made me feel like I was their most important patient that day. I had an appointment with Dr. Nenna on 11/4/16 for a pre-op appointment in regards of a benign growth getting surgically removed. He barely spent 2 minutes with me. That following Monday - 11/7/16 - was the day I had surgery. When I was in the OR awaiting for the procedure to begin, I could tell that he was highly distracted. I was injected with a numbing solution and when he started the incision, I had to ask him TWICE to stop since I felt him cutting into my skin and felt pain. Begrudgingly, he injected a little more numbing solution into the area where I was having surgery. Barely 5 minutes later, he was done, rushing out of the OR demanding someone else to stitch me up. I was in a bit of shock that a well respected doctor would behave like that but let it go. Two weeks later - 11/21/16 - was the post op appointment. One of the nurses took out my stitches and said that Dr Nenna would be right with me. I waited about 30 to 45 minutes. I politely stuck my head out of my exam room to ask what was going on and that I needed to leave momentarily to head to work. Moments later, Dr Nenna rushes in, not apologizing for the delay, looks at my incision, says it looks good, tells me how to stretch it, tells me that he doesn't want to see me in his office EVER again - smirks as he says it - and storms out. He barely spent 90 seconds with me, doesn't answer my questions and tells me he doesn't want to see me again. I was shocked he said that. I had been nothing but kind and respectful to him and the staff. Fast forward 2 1/2 weeks; I over do it at work and I can barely move where I had surgery; a ton of pain, stiffness, unable to flex the area. I make an appointment to see him. I wait in the exam room for close to an hour this time. He asks me what happened. I explained the situation and he tells me that where I had surgery is fine and that I'm over reacting; he doesn't even look at where the surgery was and again, tells me that he doesn't want to see me in his office - this time he tells me that he NEVER wants to see me again. I'm in such shock that he was so rude. I left in shock and sat in my car for a few minutes, crying. The following Monday, I called the office and asked for an office manager or a more senior doctor than Dr Nenna. I get an office manager and explain the situation in as much detail as possible. I'm so upset sharing with her what happened, I'm crying uncontrollably. She takes my info down so she could share my name etc with a senior doctor and with Dr Nenna. She was as shocked as I was in regards of Dr Nenna's behavior and words to me. She felt - as did I - that he was serious that he didn't want me in the office again and apologized profusely for his behavior towards me as well as him making me wait significantly longer than necessary; she'd heard through the grapevine that I was a "model patient" and didn't do anything to provoke this behavior. It's been 3 weeks - if not more - since I called and spoke to the office manager and yet to have received an apology from Dr Nenna himself; not like I'd expect it from him, especially with that superiority complex that he has. If you need a good orthopedic specialist, make an appointment with Dr Decker instead. Dr Nenna isn't worth your time, energy or your hard earned money. I wish I'd asked for a different doctor; I would've been treated with respect and treated as a person by another doctor. And the kicker? It's been 7 weeks since I had surgery and I still can't straighten out where I had surgery without a bit of pain and feeling muscles/ligaments stretching uncomfortably; the area is SO stiff when I wake up and doesn't loosen up until halfway through the day. read more

I was having severe knee swelling/pain. I went here and saw Dr. Gordon and could not say enough good things about him. He is very intelligent and knowledgeable, experienced, extremely thorough from ordering tests to getting paperwork done for you. Excellent bed side manner I almost wish he was a general practitioner so I knew I had a " regular" doctor whom I trusted so much. He did knee surgery on my knee at Hunterdon medical center. Everything went smoothly, organized. His office is clean , modern, nurses and secretaries are kind and helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone & anyone looking for an orthopedic doctor specifically Dr. Gordon! read more

A waste of time going there. Have ligament problems with the knee and was proclaimed it was arthritis in the knee and was injected with cortisone. The pain is with the fibula and the ligaments. The second trip there with a different doctor resulted in the doctor not bothering to study the problem but jumped to the first doctor's judgment and injected cortisone again. Meanwhile the ligaments and the fibula still give pain. Now using a ligament brace that the first doctor told me to throw away. read more

Yesterday, 8/10/2017, I had a follow-up appointment at 10 a.m.to a back injection which I had on 7/17/2017. After waiting in the reception area until 10:50, I was finally called in to the inside room, only to wait another 40 some minutes. At no point did anyone come in and say why the wait was so long; was she running late, was there an emergency, she had an accident, or perhaps that day was her day off and they made a mistake in booking. At 11:35 I made the decision to leave. I let them know at the front desk who I was, how long I had waited, and what time I was originally schedule for, and left. No explanation was offered. I consider my time to be important but am willing to wait a reasonable length of time. I am a professional as well, and would not be in business any longer if I treated my clients in this manner. It has been 24 hours. You would have thought there would have been a phone call. I have been a patient of Hunterdon MidJersey Orthopedics for over 5 years. read more

I have had my ankle put back together after an ice fall, a total knee replacement and my crooked toes aligned! I am going back for the 2nd knee replacement three months after the 1st. The first experience was couple of years ago when I had an injection, went back for a follow up visit the following week. I waited for 45 minutes in the holding pen they call a waiting area to sit in another room for over an hour with no one checking. Finally got fed up and walked out, couple hrs later I get a phone call regarding my office experience, when i told them all that was said was would I like to reschedule the appointment. The second time was with my daughter who went in to see them for her hip. She was told there was nothing wrong and to take Advil if it continues. I took her to a different practice who is not affiliated with Mid Jersey and a few weeks later she was getting her Labrum in her hip repaired. read more

My visit to Midjerseyorthopedics was because of back pain. An appointment was set up with Dr Collalto. After three visits and two shots into my back muscle and a prescription I did not get any relief. I found Dr Collalto far from personable and it seemed as though I was an inconvenience to him and his day. All I can say is he goes thru the motions of being a doctor but not really one. Read the reviews from others and find another doctor to go to. I discussed the situation with my family doctor and he suggested I make an appointment with Dr Salam. It took 45 days to get an appointment. I told her my problem, she told me to bend over and lean back then I sat on the table and she checked the muscle strength in my right and left leg. From that evaluation she suggested I get a steroid injection in my back. I asked her if she looked at my MRI and she said she didn't need to. .... the injection was done and I got no relief from the pain in my back. A follow up was to be done in approximately 10 days. It took a three weeks to get a follow up appointment. At the appointment after telling her I got no relief she suggested a MRI .... I already had one with Collalto but she never bother to look at it. I asked her when I would get another appointment and she said " I will call you". I stayed another two hours in Flemington to get another MRI as she direction and tomorrow I'll be five weeks and she has yet to call me. I called her office twice but still she never called. Find another doctor! I am now with Rutgers Pain Management and after telling them my story about MidJersey Orthopedics they explained that they use an X-ray device during the injection procedure so there is no guessing where to place the steroids. I find it beyond unbelievable that Dr Salam just guessed where to inject the steroids, no wonder it had no effect. Our health care system is continually failing us and they still get paid. read more
