I wouldn't say this a place to invest your money not by a long shot but open up a free checking account. Yes savings no cd no investments. Now alone I don't know. I wish brick and mortar Banks would offer a high-yield savings account. I think there should be a standard 5% interest on any account holding $5000 or more bucks. We recently took out our money because we were not wearing every anything on her savings for over five years the bank was making money on our money, and we made nothing and we got nothing to show for it, except lost money, lost time so the banks in general are there for their shareholders and not for the customer so you have to understand who you're dealing with. It does make me sad because it's not just us bank. It's all banks in general they drive around and they're advertising trucks and cars and their promotions we got they don't offer a real value to the customer when it comes to saving and investing. The best thing to do is if you have money in savings, take it out and put it into a high-yield savings account or an investment account and then once the banks are realizing people are smarter than they'll have to offer a high-yield 5% savings. Otherwise they lose all their business you'll see that's the power of communication through Yelp and in the community.
