Dr. Nimmich, staff, and, facilities were awesome. We have visited both locations for services since then. The location on Two Notch was our first experience, the location in Camden our second. Both were great, and did not disappoint. Thank you for being who you are, and for what you do with such professionalism, and kindness.

Then we were called back. I was told that I needed a panoramic X-ray and I forgot to stop by our dentist so my son could get one so we got one here which was an extra fee, no biggie. The surgeon came in and was very thorough and explained the whole process and what would be the expectation on the day of surgery and so on. We were asked if we had questions and once we were done, we went back to the front. Now here is where my frustration comes in. We get called back to schedule the surgery, only to be told that they were not in network and I would be paying out of pocket. Now if you had my insurance info for a week, I'm sure you checked to make sure you were getting paid and that it was valid. So why not tell me that you weren't in network? That ticked me off. I took time off work only to not even be moving forward with his surgery. So I paid and dipped! Some places are just getting ridiculous. If I'm scheduling with you and you see I'm not covered, let me know so I can find another provider of the service....not pay you for monies for nothing.

They're very good about running on schedule. But also they are knowledgable group of Dentists. They're good about getting other opinions on things from each other. They take excellent care of my teeth. I've tried other Dentists in the area, but sometimes I feel like they want to find things wrong just so they can fix it and get extra money. This place is definitely not like that. They WANT the patients to have great teeth. They're very encouraging. I highly recommend this place. They're a great bunch!

I have gum disease from the progression of two autoimmune diseases, when I told them this everybody communicated that well to each other as well as telling me about other patients they've had with similar situations. I've mainly worked with Dr. Adams (the periodontist) and his daughter Elaine and they are wonderful. They did a deep gum cleaning on me, which is a minor surgery of cleaning the inside of the gums. I have never had such a good oral procedure, they worked quickly, made sure I was comfortable often and were very careful. I not only have my wisdom tooth extraction there next month, but I will also be having Invisalign done with their orthodontist. I highly recommend them to anybody.

Even though I was having all of my upper teeth removed, it was hands down the best dental visit I've ever had. I ended up with necrotic jawbone on antibiotics for five months. This oral surgeon felt there was no need to prescribe antibiotics before extraction, explained the situation I experienced several years ago and he just brushed it off. Said he would do an antibiotic wash after the removal. Refused to acknowledge my concerns and my past history, so I refused to acknowledge that he knew what he was doing. I then made the appointment to go back into the low country and have extracted the right way with antibiotics. I would never return to this place and I certainly would never recommend it. I would recommend turning running and never looking back. Find another place this is not the one you want. And yes they still gave me an exuberant bill of $230 for one x-ray and a four minute conversation. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. It is worth the drive to find an oral surgeon that will listen to you, address your concerns and do so without barking at you. I was made to feel like a POS he even went so far I asked to say I did not know what I was talking about so I should leave it to the professionals. I just left and they will never see me again. Be careful how you proceed if you continue using this place

The office doesn't refund you, they keep your money until you complain and tell them you will take the appropriate legal action! I was there 2-3 months ago for tooth pain, he barely did a thing and was in a hurry to move on to the next patient, so he's like give it 7-14 days for the pain to go away uh REALLY? That was unacceptable. Then proceeds to look at my gums and after 3 minutes, he's like you have beginning gum disease and I think to myself, the hell I do lol and tell me I need a deep cleaning which by the way is EXPENSIVE!! And you have to put a $100 deposit, some gal said if you cancel at last min/day before they keep that deposit, so I knew I didn't need that cleaning and canceled like 2 weeks in advance and they never refunded our money until Jan 2025, when I contacted them to complain. We finally got out $100 deposit back this month Jan 2025, my tooth pain hardly went away, I contacted this office several times and NO RESPONSE!! Mean time my husband who was in the waiting room, also heard Dr Patel saying to least a few other patients, you need a deep cleaning. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! There are plenty of better dentists out there!

I don't like having to start over as a new patient anywhere and one never knows if things would go well at a new place or not. I think establishing relationships and making an effort to get to know their staff and give them a chance to get to know me may work better. My 2nd visit was way better than my first and let's hope that trend continues. Thank you, Brianna.

I was reading great reviews, and it was great. An appointment was made for a few weeks from now. I had called and told them that I can only see one of the dentists who is in my insurance and network. I had an issue with one of my teeth and called to see if I could get in any earlier. I came to find that the doctor I was scheduled with was not on the website anymore. I asked the person on the phone, and they were very confused about who I was talking to. I come to find that they just started. I understand that they are new, but as a business, would it be good to let them know that there were three doctors there and have left recently? Also, really, you can not call your patients and let them know that their doctor has moved to another location. I would have gone out there and then realized that and had to leave, and it's a long drive for me. It was not right not to inform them participants of a huge change like that, and on top I even have in my file that I can only see one as of my assurances. So I have found the doctor that I wanted to see and can now get in even earlier, so that is a plus, but really, please inform your customers before the day of the appointment of a huge change like that.
