Im so happy to be the first to write a review for them honestly, im honored. They exceeded my husband's and i expectations. More importantly my daughters. They welcomed us with open arms. Tho most of them dont know me well nor me them, im happy to get to know them, as well as they us. my daughter has been making excellent grades and has nothing but wonderful things to say about each and every teacher/staff. I found homeschooling to be a wonderful answer for his distress and mine. He started at the basics and worked upward learning and enjoying learning. Thank you Zion Academy for all your support. My son has now as an adult achieves more than I ever dreamed. He has been a plant manager doing paperwork and supervisory position making extremely good money. A friend and myself were looking for a conservative faith based home schooling program for our…read morechildren. Zion looked Christian like and interesting for our children. The curriculum is repetitive and hard to keep a child interested in all subjects, especially when you have to do pages and pages of long division. I think they get it after a few pages. The Social Studies and Science were the better of the books. It is pretty shocking when you as the parent receive the test scores back for math(that you yourself have checked) and it is a failing grade. When you ask the company why, they say the problems were not checked. Really? There were no clear instructions on checking every problem. When you know your child has grasped the material and then they get an F? And if you ask for a copy of any test you are told "We have over a thousand students, no you may not have a copy." The main person running this show is so condescending and talks to you, the parent, like your an idiot. Pastor Lindsay is quite disrespectful,rude, and maybe has too much of a work load. For a Christian based, Faith based program, they are lacking on Christian ethics. My friend bowed out at the end of last school year(she wasn't charged). I decided to give my son a little more time at home, but the next F and condescending phone call with Pastor Lindsay and I had had it. So I bowed out. And now they are trying to charge me an exit fee of hundreds of dollars when there is no agreement I would pay anything if I ever wanted to leave the program early. I am my son's teacher and I have the right to choose another program if I like. BUYER BEWARE. There are so many other good Faith based programs out there. I would advise on NOT doing this one. I will keep praying for Pastor Lindsay though, to remember kindness, patience, and good leadership. She needs it.

I am currently seeking work and signed my child up for this…read moredaycare on 4/22/21 my daughter tested positive for covid-19 on 4/23/21 so responsibly I called the school on 4/23/21 to let them know and made them aware that obviously my child would not start on 4/26/21 but if it would be ok to start fresh when everyone tested negative. There response was even though he has not attend yet and will not attend if you choose you would still have to pay weekly. Obviously I'm not able to start my employment due to covid-19 and therefor will not be paid and can't afford to pay until I start working so can I get a refund her response was we don't give refunds. So I thought I put this review to let everyone know how the owners of this childcare treat people durning these times the woman showed no care what's so ever.
