I expressed my concerns about the ratio and the wellbeing of the children and the teachers to the director Sonya and she decided to terminate my child's care immediately. I didn't curse her out or anything. I simply expressed my concerns about the fact that it's 1 teacher and AT LEAST 7 infants (there's 7 infants in the classroom my child was in). Texas teacher to infant ratio is 1:4 (0-11 months) and 1:5(12-17 months) and even that is a lot. so for one teacher to be left with up to 9 babies is crazy. The director claims that it's two teachers but every day I picked him up there is not two teachers. The other teacher is with the toddlers. She claims that she cares about the well being of the children and the staff but I can't tell. There was literally a toddler in the room with 7 other infants and still ONE teacher. That is unsafe for all the children and the teacher. If I dropped my child off before the infant teacher got there, my child was out with the bigger kids and they were completely out of ratio. Also they changed the pick up/drop process less than 2 hours after I expressed my concerns about the ratio. It is a really small daycare. Getting to and from the daycare is a hassle. Parking is a nightmare. Navigating through the daycare itself is a hassle. My child was only there for 15 days before he was terminated immediately and it honestly was a blessing in disguise. Please think twice before you send your child here and if you still decide to I wish you and your family the best!

My son is very strong willed and has benefited from the kind, but firm and consistent guidance of the staff in the classroom. I'm continually amazed by how he has grown in his ability to focus and complete tasks. Ms. Diana is a treasure. When my son was struggling with follow through and obedience, Ms. Diana worked to identify some of the underlying issues and found ways to keep him engaged and challenged in the classroom. The difference in his behavior at school and at home after she made these adjustments was amazing. I feel like the school really partners with us in parenting and provides a lot of great resources and support.

She has never shown any fear when it comes to being in or under the water. So after the summer ended, we decided it was important to enroll her in swim lessons--not only for her safety, but also to give her more structure and proper instruction. We started lessons in mid-January. At first, progress felt slow because some of the coaches seemed more focused on following their lesson checklist than allowing her to actually swim and build confidence. They often held onto her, and we felt like she was regressing a bit. Then we found Coach Ryan, and everything changed. He has been fantastic! Instead of constantly cradling her, he gives her clear instructions and allows her the opportunity to learn and swim on her own. It has been so much fun watching him work with her and seeing her confidence grow. Within about three weeks, he had taught her how to float on her back by herself! Now we're working on more consistent kicking and helping her confidently roll from her belly to her back. That's one thing I would recommend though is consistency of the coaches. They have high turn around and I feel like everytime we have to change coach she regressed. On the positive note. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Taylor. She is absolutely amazing! She is incredibly attentive, always willing to help with scheduling, and keeps everything running smoothly. Honestly, I don't know if the parents would be nearly as happy without her. Overall, this is a wonderful place for children to become comfortable in the water, learn essential water safety skills, and build confidence while having fun. We highly recommend it!

All my doubts and speculations were literally out the window on day 2 of picking up our son from his second day of school 1 year ago. Our son has learned so much in such a short amount of time. The transformation happened so fast! It was almost unreal! The teachers and staff at MSCB have become family. They love our children so much. Our son doesn't leaving us like most toddlers don't, so it makes morning drop-offs a little difficult sometimes, but the moment he sees his teachers, everything changes. When we pick him up from school, he doesn't want to leave. Our son is 2.5 years old now; he learned to count to 20 on his own by 20 months. He is so much more advanced than our friend's children in normal daycare programs. His teachers have taught him about animals I don't even know the names of . The teachers at this school are kind and patient and take time to know your child. The teachers here were an integral part in helping us potty training our toddler. They were patient with him while he was learning and always provided helpful feedback and things we could be doing at home to help him be more successful. He has learned so much in a short period of time. I've noticed things he does at home that I know came from this school. He is learning to become an independent and responsible child. And I can't wait to watch him to continue to thrive here. We are excited to have our younger child start school here in the fall.

I have been trying to be patient and give them time to get better but to no avail. They DO NOT communicate with the parents about anything! The Intermediate school does a great job at communicating but not Thelma Jones! The teachers I've met are rude and snobby, except the music teacher she is pretty amazing! The playground is pitiful. I'm thankful that this is the only year my daughter will go to this school!
