They dont seem to have a handle over their billing and so are now asking me to pay $800 for bills they say that havent been paid for 5 years ??? how can that happen if i have been regularly coming every 3 months and clearing the bills ? While Dr Fischkoff is great, I will NOT be going to AOA ever again because of this terrible office experience. The folks in the billing department are rude and dont even have the courtesy to give you details before threatening to send it over to collections. I am going to raise it with the Consumer Protection board as well.

Dr Fishkoff took over, and between him and PA Brandon Hom, they started the journey of figuring out what was happening to me. I was previously(2010) diagnosed with Lupus without much education or real help with staying healthy. In 2023, my health took a turn for the worse and debilitated me; I was scared and at my wit's end because no one could tell me what was happening to me. Thank God I found both offices. I was diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue disease( RA, Sjogren's Syndrome, Lupus) and Fibromyalgia. My head spun; I felt like I was losing my mind. I fell into depression from losing mobility and not being who I once was. Although I am not back to where I was, I feel like they saved my life. Few offices in Rheumatology understand what we are going through. Dr. Fishkoff listened to me in my frantic state and heard me clearly when I knew I struggled to explain what was happening. He was patient and provided a plan that I am confident will get me back to "myself" to some degree. I know more about my health issues now, and I am educated and confident even in my disability. The office staff is understanding and patient, always returning calls and answering questions timely. Thank you, Dr. Fishkoff and staff, for all that you have done for me.

The office staff are professional and helpful. I've picked up prescriptions here and the staff were friendly to me. Also, the doctors utilize email and are very responsive to patients. The office is located in one of the many medical buildings on Northfield Ave. It's on the side of the Vizcaya. There is ample parking, but the office also offers valet. It's also close to Saint Barnabas, and easy to get to from 280 and 78.
