He made it impossible for me to self advocate and dismissed my concerns and knowledge of my own health and pain levels. After giving me a confusing explanation, he told me I was simply too young to have anything wrong with me and wrote a script for a narcotic and muscle relaxer. I visited a different doctor and found out I did in fact have an autoimmune problem and he had not only wasted my time and money, but misdiagnosed me. Had I not gotten a second opinion I'd still be suffering. This man needs a reevaluation and suspension of his license to practice and prescribe medicine.

I would not recommend this imaging center. While the front office staff were polite enough, the…read moreoverall service was frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish. My appointment was initially scheduled for two CT scans, but when I arrived, I was told I couldn't proceed because no one had informed me that I needed to drink a contrast solution beforehand. Later, I received a call canceling my rescheduled appointment due to a supposed lack of insurance authorization--despite the fact that I did have the authorization. I tried calling the office to sort it out, but it took over 30 minutes for someone to answer the phone. I finally drove to the location in person and was given a new appointment. On the day of that appointment, after following all instructions and drinking the preparation solution (which was unpleasant), I showed up only to be told that my appointment had been canceled again. First, they claimed I had already completed the test. Then they said I still didn't have authorization. After sitting there for an hour and getting nowhere, I offered to pay out of pocket just to finally get it done. Initially, they said I couldn't--but then changed their mind and accepted my payment. I ended up paying $390 for a test that should have been covered by my insurance. This facility clearly struggles with communication and coordination. They rarely answer calls, and the third-party service they use for scheduling is completely unreliable. Stay away if you value your time, money, or sanity.

Deciding it was about time to start taking advantage of my health insurance, I scoured the interweb…read morefor a doctor. After a horrible experience with a local gyno (where she convinced me that I was depressed -I'm not, it's called PMS- and needed to be on happy pills), I've been a bit skeptical of docs. After reading Julia's review, however, I decided Dr. P sounded like my kinda woman, "someone I would love to have a beer with?" say no more. So I scheduled my appointment on Friday and they were able to put me in on Monday. I showed up at 3:30 (my assigned time), fearing I'd end up spending my entire afternoon there. Within 10 minutes I was seen by a nurse and within another 5 Dr. P showed up. She's just awesome. Totally conversational, quick to put you at ease, thorough... We talked about my medical history, she ran through a few exams, prescribed some medicine for my nagging cough, and sent me off for some blood work. I was out of the office by 4:15! She also referred me to a new gyno and dentist. All in all, Dr. P is terrific, thanks Yelp.
