We did a full tasting and sampled several wines. Pour after pour we were thoroughly impressed with everything they served. Not only did we love the wines, we loved the variety of wines to match different palates. What also impressed us was the owner took the time to come out and speak with us to discuss the craft of wine making. Absolutely try the Viognier and The Black Oak Stick Chambourcin. All the red wines leaned towards the dry side, which I enjoy. They are crafted in a traditional French style, with aging taking place in French oak barrels. I feel it's worth a visit if you prefer dry wines over the typical sweet varieties found in North Carolina.

There was a food truck but I ended up getting some snacks from in the bar area instead. Next time I'll bring a charcuterie board because that would have been so perfect!
