I went in several times to go over the details as my dad was a stage 4 cancer patient at the time, and was only given weeks to live. Every question I had was treated as an inconvenience. Only "certain" people could help you if you walked in. They disregarded several of my requests. They think they have the monopoly on the Catholics on the West and South sides of South Bend. More, on prepaid arrangements, you are a thorn in their side. I took a year to think before I wrote this review. It wasn't done on raw emotion.

In the process we found out two other family members had problems with their headstones sinking over time. Cutler arranged to have the headstone lifted and stabilized. The other was over one hundred years old and had cracked in half. Dale again assisted us to replace the headstone with a new one. Cutler took excellent care of us every step of the process. Updating us with photos and timelines. I can't tell you how relieved I was that my 82 year old mother did not have to travel back to Indiana during Covid to take care of this! The people are nice, but I found communication somewhat difficult. For example, I wrote an email, I spoke directly in person to the director, and then I got a call from another manager two days before her celebration of life, asking about the paper materials that I thought I had resolved at least a week earlier. I guess I can't expect the same personalized experiences that I've had for many years with the original owners. It is unfortunate. And in any interaction with a funeral home it is difficult to anticipate expenses. I highly recommend planning in advance and not leaving this to family members!

There were many very nice, laminated bookmarks, and cards made in my grandfather's memory...but they were not distributed at all during the service or visitation. We had to provide our own snacks for the visitation, which we had to keep downstairs (where they needed to stay). Not very handy for the handicapped. On the good side, they did a great job making my grandfather look sharp and they made a DVD out of the photos we had on a flash drive. This place is not what it used to be.

Let's start with the fact that I didn't even hire this company or need any tree service but yet I…read moream writing a review to voice my displeasure. That should indicate my feelings towards Trees Plus. My new neighbors hired this company to take down a few large trees in our shared alley. First, they never knocked on the door or anything to tell us they would be completely blocking our car in the garage for consecutive days in a row. Fine, thats whatever don't be considerate thats okay. BUT the reason I am writing this review is because they took down the huge trees, which left many large branches on our roofs and one of the branches ripped our extra room roofing causing a leak into ur laundry room. We have lived here many months and never had an issue with roof leaking, we called out a contractor too see why the roof was leaking and lone behold he showed us the rip. My wife contacted Trees Plus and they said that nothing came close to our house and that there was no they did anything wrong. Which is interesting seeing that if you just ignore that dozens of branches they left on our roof, the debris from cutting down the trees clogged our gutters on that side of the roof, they used our window seals as cup holders for their lunch drinks, and the main contractors son walked all over our flowers killing those too. So it really seems that not only were you close to our property, but you were clearly on it. A couple hundred dollar fix, and I didn't even need any tree service. Thanks Trees Plus for you lack of professionalism and for taking no responsibility. Needless to say, we wont be recommending this company to anyone.
