I gave all of my information and was told that I would receive a call within 72 business hours. That was over a month ago. I also sent an email with no response. I went in several times to go over the details as my dad was a stage 4 cancer patient at the time, and was only given weeks to live. Every question I had was treated as an inconvenience. Only "certain" people could help you if you walked in. They disregarded several of my requests. They think they have the monopoly on the Catholics on the West and South sides of South Bend. More, on prepaid arrangements, you are a thorn in their side. I took a year to think before I wrote this review. It wasn't done on raw emotion.

Over the years, though, I've grown to love how peaceful it is even though hundreds of thousands of college-football fans tromp right past it on their way to the bookstore. At this point, I know a few people buried here, including my dear old South Bend landlord Bill (RIP), who remains the best landlord I've ever had. It's also interesting and kind of eerie to see the headstones of friends who have bought plots already but who are still alive. It's a tiny cemetery, but it's also difficult to find the famous people you're looking for just by going up and down the rows. Try to do it anyway, because it just feels weird using a phone in a cemetery, especially one this old. It's not dilapidated!

The florist had offered to send the same bouquet to the family, which seemed rather strange considering the funeral had already taken place and there wasn't a need for flowers that were intended for the funeral. After awhile, the florist eventually agreed they would return the cost of the flowers to my credit card. After approximately a week or two, more than enough time for the florist to return the money promised to us, according to my credit card company, it had never happened. At this point I had to take the time to open a case for the credit card company to investigate. Apparently Country Florist and Gifts just blew us off even after agreeing to return the money. Several weeks later, it was the credit card company who credited back the cost of the flowers because they were not able to get any response from the florist. It's just pitiful how inconsiderate both businesses were to our situation especially considering the reason we ordered the flowers in the first place. Our rating to both Palmer Funeral Home and Country Florist and Gifts would be NO STARS, but had to mark ONE to be able to submit our rating. It's very clear, that customer service is apparently not a priority for either business.
