Very nice lady answered and set me up with an appt. The tech came out and I showed him the wear marks. I informed tech I just bought this house and I found these marks. The tech was friendly, knowledgeable and professional looking. The tech represented Tri State very well I thought. The tech showed me that the doors had worn some of the 2x4 framing inside the garage to the point that they do not rub anymore and everything was working fine but he checked the rollers anyways and said there was a slight adjustment he could do to the first wheel on the track. Since he was out here anyways, I had him lubricate the spring and all the joints.

We had ACS come to our home to give a quote for new garage doors. I explained that I wanted the…read morebrick mould around the garage doors replaced because they were dented. I showed him all of the dented areas and he assured me (3 different times throughout our visit) that the brick mould would be replaced. He told me that the mould would be the same color as the rubber seal that would be put in around the doors. He also told me that the brick mould would be included in the quote. I called ACS to voice my concerns and I was told that there was nothing that could be done and that their salesmen had so many years of experience that none of them would have told me that (the salesman that came to my house seemed very young). A short time after I called, a lady called me to see how I liked my new doors and when I explained my concerns to her, she said she wanted to talk to someone else in the office and get back to me. This call happened in May and I have yet to receive a call back from them. I love the look of the doors, but my dented brick mould was not replaced as I was told it would be, so now I have had to hire another company to replace the brick mould when I was originally told it was going to be included in my quote. I feel deceived by the salesman that first came to my house and ignored when no-one bothered to call me back.

Even my totally OCD but beloved late husband - who was awesome in electronics and electrical - consulted and deferred to Karl. And he had ridiculously high standards. (See OCD above) Karl went to school and got licensed the hard way - the real hard way ----while working and parenting and helping my lovely but way too imaginative elderly parents with their many and weird rentals - . Karl is safety conscious - Thankfully, he is also cost conscious ---- we all need that, right? He is not judgemental and thankfully does not do those dreary lectures contractors do to up the price ---- he has always come in with great work within budget on time or before. Highly recommend.
