I was encouraged (read, worried about losing 7.5k$ due to prepayment that was not per their contract reimbursable through clinic cancellation) to not cancel a round that THEY should have preemptively canceled due to extremely low estradiol numbers for 6 follicles, leading to the retrieval of 1 egg and 5 empty follicles, rather than cancelling on their end and reviewing my protocol as should have been done. To have them call on the next day and act like I should be excited that one follicle fertilized normally with a sum total of .9-1.5% chance of it leading to a live birth (85% attrition funnel, 25% reduction for chance of genetic disorder, 50% attrition for sex selection--the entire reason i began IVF to begin with, and 18-23% live birth chances for those math curious) was the icing on the cake

I am now pregnant with my 2nd child and we are relocating and I don't think I will be able to find an OB to ever compare to her.
