Kathy Fair is the best! I moved to Fort Lauderdale three years ago, but still make the drive to see her!

I'm thrilled to have been matched with the awesome Rachanee Yaemsang, CNM, ARNP. Ms. Yaemsang was friendly, thorough, frank and kind. I felt very comfortable with her right away. Thank you! Thank you also to the nice, patient young woman who took my medical history; I'm sorry, but I can't recall her name. Her demeanor completely put me at ease; what a great bedside manner she has! She bantered with me, as well, while I searched my phone to look up medical history details for their records. I remember thinking, 'wow, this person is really good at this!' I appreciated the homey touches in the exam room itself. Blue walls, a huge window, a framed painting, living room sitting chairs, a side table with a fake plant: all these touches created an appealing, low-stress environment for what can be an uncomfortable exam. This office was difficult to locate. It is on the second floor of the Bank of America building, but this building- from afar- gives no indication that it holds anything except the bank! I had to call and ask for the location, after circling the shopping plaza a couple of times with no luck. Parking is ample and free, in a shopping plaza.

She takes her time with you and answers all your questions. She's courteous and makes you feel comfortable. The best OBGYN if you ask me. I love going to this office. It's clean and the office staff are friendly. There isn't a long wait to see the doctor; they always follow up. If you're looking for an OBGYN, she's the one!

She can't seem to figure out which insurance policies they accept and instead of trying to HELP you and work with your insurance company - she "suggested," i seek another doctor!!!!!! As per my insurance company they are in network... so this really just boils down to laziness and overall lack of care or consideration. Do yourselves a favor ladies and find another practice as the manager, Julie, so impolitely suggested. This way you can save yourselves the stress I had to endure. What a disappointment. Its really a true disgrace when a dr/her office you have been seeing for many years could care less about you!! AWFUL, AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!

I was scheduled for my annual exam today and arrived to find the doors shuttered and no appointments available at his new place where you need to join to become a concierge member. I have been a patient since 2018 or 2019 when I first moved to Florida. In early 2022 Dr. Silfen…read moredid the surgery for my hysterectomy. I was at Boca Regional Hospital. I felt at the time he was an excellent doctor & surgeon & felt he cared & was careful. It took me a little longer to recover but I did indeed recover but there were some complications which were all addressed. I went into menopause which was surprising considering we kept my ovaries. I was NOT fully educated on this at all or offered hormones. I felt like because I wasn't a pregnant woman I was kinda treated like a second class citizen honestly & after the surgery I really needed education on HRT & everything I was experiencing. In 2022 the office & Dr. Silfen were still covid cautious. By 2023 the office was no longer covid cautious at all. Recently when I brought in sealed N95 masks for the staff & doctor. Dr. Silfen & his nurse actually screamed at me with the door wide open while I was undressed with nothing but the exam sheet on. Dr. Silfen & his nurse threw an absolute temper tantrum about wearing a respirator & ignored the fact that he knows I have been immune compromised & that I have had Long Covid. If I wasn't in so much pain I would've walked out but I needed help. I can't work anymore & lost my insurance & was denied healthcare through the marketplace. I paid everything out of pocket. I had to beg for a CT scan to find out the root cause of my abdominal pain. Dr. Silfen's office ordered a CT scan through Boca Regional Clinic which cost over $2100.00. I could've gotten the same CT scan from Rayus Radiology for 1/10th of the cost. Dr. Silfen called me with the results which found a lesion on my liver!!! I didn't have a lesion on my liver ever prior to having Long Covid. I had CT scans after my hysterectomy prior to any Covid infection and my liver was fine. Now I am following up with more tests with no health insurance & I don't know how I will pay these medical bills but what I can say is this: Until you have Far UVC light in your practice and at the hospital, doctors & staff absolutely need to #keepmasksinhealthcare to #weararespirator. Covid & Long Covid is preventable with when everyone is wearing a good respirator and best when there is Far UVC light used & then & only then should wearing a mask be optional. I wonder how many pregnant patients had Covid & how many babies born were affected by Mothers with Covid. As of June 10. 2024 the CDC stopped counting because we are in an election year. We know over 1 million Americans died. Over 18 million Americans confirmed with Long Covid & over 5 million Long Covid kids. I don't think it is too much an immunocompromised patient especially now with Long Covid to ask their doctor & their staff to wear a respirator to prevent any possible reinfections. I used to think Dr. Silfen & the staff was great & I used to think they had empathy which is why I was a patient for years. I was so upset after my last visit & being screamed at by Dr. Silfen & his young nurse with the door wide open while I was practically naked in the exam sheet all because I don't want to be further disabled. Really Dr. Silfen & staff you couldn't be bothered to protect me as an immunocompromised patient that you know has Long Covid? You think screaming at a vulnerable patient is more acceptable than protecting a vulnerable patient who is in pain & scared & came to make an appt with you for help? It has been a few weeks since the appt & CT scan & I'm still so upset, shocked & appalled because I used to literally be grateful after my hysterectomy surgery. It gives me no pleasure to write this but this is what my experience was. In the future get Far UVC light for your office & Boca Regional Medical Center. Wear a respirator & keep masks in healthcare until you get Far UVC to clean and disinfect the air for indoor air quality. Treat ALL patients with respect & regard for their well being & safety. Just because I am not pregnant & I can't have a baby & have a compromised immune system & now Long Covid doesn't mean I deserve any less respect than anyone else!! My life & my health matters too!!
